CH.21: A Pain Filled Cry

I fling Eren forward. "Eren, keep going!" I yell at him.

"But Gunther..."

"Who's there?!" Petra shouts at the hooded figure.

"Protect Eren and Ezlyn!" Eld commands.

"Damn it, what do we do? Eld, where should we go?" Olou shouts, his voice frustrated and pained.

"There isn't time to reach the horses! Head for HQ, as fast as you can!" Eld orders us.

This person is likely the Female Titan because, the Titan got eaten, but did we see the human get eaten?!

"Is it from the Female Titan? Or is there more than one?" Olou asks.

"Sir, it's definitely the Female Titan. We never managed to capture them because her scream attracted Titans, that devoured her." I shout to him.

"Damn you... How dare you?!" Petra exclaims. Drawing her blades. "I'll defeat you, even if it kills me!" I wince and keep facing ahead. I don't want Petra to die, she's like a twin sister.

The hooded figure falls back behind a tree. Lightning came down from the sky like when I transformed.

"I knew it..." Eld mutters. "It's coming! The Female Titan!"

The Female Titan emerged from the steam and their eyes seemed to be glowing a white colour. She charged at us full speed, keeping her eyes on me the whole time.

"How dare you! This time, I will defeat it!" Eren yells at the top of his voice, turning round to face the beast chasing us. He raises his hand to his mouth.

"No! The three of us will kill the Female Titan. You two will continue to head straight for HQ at top speed!" Eld screams at him.

"I'll fight, too!" Eren protests.

"No! This is the best move... Your powers are too risky! "

"What? Do you doubt us?" Olou asks Eren and I.

"No sir, I don't!" I yell at him.

"Do you, Eren? Do you find it that hard to trust us?" Petra asks Eren. He then drops his hand from his mouth and turns to face the front.

"I believe my squad will be victorious. Good luck!" He shouts back at them, as we both continue ahead towards HQ.

I hear the others turn around in the diretion of the Female Titan. I heard Eren gasp and look behind him.

"Eren, look ahead! Have a little faith in them, please!" I shout at him.

He gasps again and I look behind to see what he's gapeing about. They had already had the Titan cornered, and they have also took it's sight. "Turn around, their fine!" I yell at him again. He listens and I notice only one of the Female's eyes is regenerating.

I think nothing of it and go back to facing the front. But there was a feeling in my gut teling me that if I don't fight they'll all die but I ignore it because it's just paranoia.

Eren gasps then starts whimpering. He double-backs fast round a tree and starts heading towards the Female titan. I snap around and see the Titan spit out Elds upper half. My eyes widen and I go straight for Eren.

I notice Petra fall low to the ground. The Female Titan gets up and starts running after her.

"Petra, get up, please!" I scream. The Female Titan catches up to her and kicks her into the bottom of a tree. Blood splattering up it. I stop.

I sway there as I watch Eren go straight ahead. I witness Olou get kicked through the air. I hear Eren scream out of rage and I see a flash of yellow accompanied by a deafening bang.

"Petra..." I whisper as I look down at Petra's body, arched against the bottom of the tree. Erens roar seems to snap me out of my trance and I forget about greiving now. I need to help Eren.

Eren flings an anger driven punch at the Female Titan but she dodges. He try's again but fails. I land up high in the trees observing the fight for any weaknesses that could help Eren win against her.

He flings many other punches at her but no avail. She flees in the other direction but falls backwards letting Eren get the chance to trap her under his Titans weight. He try's punching the Females face but she dodges it. He breaks his arm from the impact. He then try's using his other hand but it's no different. His fist ends up hanging from a thread.

Eren starts roaring in the Female Titans face, and it winces and turns away. Eren then starts shaking violently. Both of his hands steaming and his eyes began to roll back into his head.

The Female Titans other eye finishes healing and she grabs his wrist, rolls over and wraps her legs round him then flips over onto her feet. She kicks Eren into a tree. Eren gets up quicker than Levi ever could and flings a fist at her face. It scrapes across it, drawing blood. He goes for another punch but she rolls onto the ground then stands back up.

Eren pushes her back to the ground and he falls against a tree. He lets out a deafening roar once again and his eyes seemed to glow a light green colour.  He fires another punch at her but she jumps back and his punch scuffs the ground.

He goes right after her and casts punches on either sides of her head, missing each one. I notice her fist begin to crystalize and she lands a fist on Erens jaw, breaking it.

But he then slides his teeth up her arm, casting sparks, and lands a punch right into her gut. She goes flying up-wards and lands against a tree. Eren goes to knee her face but she escapes. She turns to face him but a red flash interrupts his next attack, managing to cut his arm and head as well at the tree, clean in half.

I gasp as I watch his head go flying and the Female bends down to his decapitated body. Her mouth begins to open up so wide, the corners of her lips start tearing apart.

"Eren!" I scream as the Female Titan rips off the top layer of his nape off, revealing his unconsious body. I jump off the branch I was standing on and launch myself towards him. But I was too late. The Titan had bit down on his nape and pulled away.

"Eren!" I hear a familiar voice scream. I turn around to see my raven haired friend. Mikasa. The Titan stood up and began running away. I looked from the Titan then over to Mikasa who was just dangling there.

"W-Wait... Eren..." She mutters.

"Mikasa, we need to go after that monster! Snap out of it!" I yell at her. She wakes up from her day-dream and nods and follows me. We chase after the Titan full speed.

"Give..." Mikasa mutters as she fly's ahead of me. "Give..." She repeats a bit louder. "Give Eren back! She screams using a spinning technique to cut at the Titans jaw.

I help her and cut the back of the Titans knees and she falls over. "Give him back!" Mikasa screams again, slashing at the Titans nape. But the Female Titan ends up using her hardening to stop her from cutting the nape. Mikasa fly's up next to a tree and stops. "Why won't my blade cut?"

"Mikasa, it's no use!" I yell at her but she seems to not hear my and she draws a new set of blades.

"I know that... he's alive... I know that Eren's alive! No matter where she goes, I'll kill her, rip her apart, and get you out of that filth. I'm sorry, Eren... Just wait a little longer..."

I notice the Females legs have healed completely. "Mikasa, brace yourself!" I yell to her. The Titan gets up on one knee and punches the tree she was on but, Mikasa manages to dodge.  The Female Titan stands up and begins to run away.

"Wait!" Mikasa shouts but an arm goes round my waist and then the person grabs Mikasa. I look round at the person.

"Captain?" I say looking at the emotionless Captain.

"Fall back for now." He orders. He then lets us both go and we all start chasing after the Female Titan. "Maintain this distance. It may be tired. It does not appear to be going very fast. He seems to have been bit right out of the neck. Is Eren dead?" He asks us.

"No sir, I'm certain he's alive." I tell him.

"Erens definitely alive." Mikasa says bluntly. I look over at her and she holds an enraged expression.

But I have a feeling, this might not go well...
