chapter 13 (just a dream)

You shot up out of your sleep, drool spread across the part your mouth was hovering over on your desk. You hadn't even noticed you had fell asleep, it was your last class today and lets just say you were exhausted.

'was that really all a dream' you thought as you looked all around the classroom realizing it was empty. You furrowed your eyebrows and pulled your phone from your jacket pocket the time reading '3:42' . (i don't know what time school ends over there but for me it ends at like 2:40 so sorry if it isn't accurate)

Your eyes widened, you shot out of your seat and since you hadn't pulled anything out in this class you just grabbed your bag and threw it over your shoulder and ran out of the classroom locking it from the inside since they kept the doors locked before and after school hours.

Today was the day you were going to have mommy and daughter time with your mom since it was one of the three days she had off, you wanted to treat her for a day and let her rest the next two since she works soo hard. You got into your car throwing your bag in the passenger seat and as you were about to drive off you saw two figures waking towards the gym, their arms linked together. You squinted your eyes because you thought for a second that was akaashi and to your dismay it was his and linked with your ex bestfriend naella, and to add on the pain she was wearing one of his jackets, the jacket you always wore, it was your favorite one. The next thing you know he leaned down and she stood on her tippy toes and their lips connected.

Your eyes started to water but you tilted your head back fighting back the tears and before you left you just had to make a scene. You got out of your car running behind then as they walked into the gym together. You stood at the door looking around for them then you spotted two heads about to go their separate ways. You ran up to naella first grabbing her shoulders causing her to spin around before your fist connected with her face and she fell to the floor, whimpering and holding into her nose bleeding nose

Just as you were about to go in for another hit you felt your body being pulled back, your arms being placed behind your back as they used their arms as a lock for yours. You looked up to see keiji staring down at you panic in his eyes.

This made you mad even more, you straightened your head back up looking back down at the whimpering girl "keiji let me go, i warned her and she didn't want to listen, you know ill still drag her i dont care" you tried pushing him off of you using your backside but he's stronger than you soo he wouldn't budge.

You watched as more and more people gathered around the scene, you scoffed and your eyes. "You're fucking pathetic, going after him knowing im with him, i trusted you, you stupid bitch" you breathed out tears threatening to spill you tried to kick her but akaashi just turned you around soo that you weren't facing her and started walking out of the gym

"i'm sorry guys for interrupting your practice i hope you can forgive me" you yelled before you fully out of the door. Akaashi finally let you go after you were a gotta distance away from her and as soon as he did you turned around and slapped him soo hard you left a red hand print on his face. His head moving to the side at the impact

"fuck you and fuck her, i thought you'd never do that to me but i guess not everybody can keep their word" you tried holding back your tears as much as you could biting your lip trying to restrain the sobs from leaning your mouth but a couple tears fell and you hadn't noticed until he was standing in front of you wiping them away.

You smacked his hand away from your face leading him stunned "baby i'm sorry, i promise i have an explanation just give me some time" he looked at you guilt written all over his face

"tch, y'all deserve each other, you could've at least broken it off with me" you turned running back to your car and of course akaashi chased after you but you didn't unlock your doors. You were about to pull out before you caught another figure coming into view shouting your name

"Y/N Y/N Y/N WAIT IM COMING HOME WITH YOU" you saw the grey haired boy running to your car, you unlocked your doors allowing him inside and locking them instantly after

"don't you have practice" you looked over at him

"yea but i'm ditching today, i saw what happened and i need to make you feel better so stop by the store and by your favorite food place you can pick out anything and ill pay for it" he smiled from ear to ear.

You nodded your head pulling out of the parking space. "Thank you kou"

He smiled and plugged in the aux cord to his phone and played your playlist you had made together hoping to lighten the mood. It was honestly working, music was like an escape from reality and it calmed your nerves if you were listening to the right song.

You had canceled on your mom for today and rescheduled everything for tomorrow, you didn't want to tell her what happened with akaashi yet so you just made up some lame excuse which she barely believed, you said something along the lines of "i dont feel good, i feel really nauseous" and she looked at you concerned but nodded before walking upstairs and into her room but not before you apologized a million times promising you were gonna have a full day together tomorrow you even told her you would skip school tmw just to hang out with her since its been a while you two just had a sit down talk.

You and Bokuto went up to your room, drinks, food, and snacks filling your arms and a tub of icecream. You both sat on your bed watching a handful of random movies eating everything you bought until you had both fallen asleep in the most awkward position. Your body spread across the bed and he was facing the opposite way from you, his legs thrown across your body, your feet in his face. Truth be told, to anyone else this would look uncomfortable but this was honestly one of the best sleeps you had in a while.
