chapter 14 (truth)

A/N: sorry for any spelling/ grammar mistakes i didn't proofread but i still hope you all enjoy nonetheless

"kiyokooo, i know you and yachi are tired of hearing how much i miss him but i can't help it" you were on group facetime with kiyoko and yachi who you were practically sisters with since you started at karasuno and you had told them all that happened this week. Thank the heavens it was now saturday and you could relax.

"Yea but look what he did to you, we just dont want you getting hurt again" yachi was pulling hair back into a low bun

"im gonna go for a drive i need some fresh air ill text in the groupchat when im back i love you" and they said their goodbyes too before hanging up the phone.

You put on some black joggers and a plain black tee, grabbing a random zipup jacket pulling it up your arms. You grabbed your keys and your wallet and went downstairs slipping on your nike slides.  

You were now just randomly driving around not giving a care in the world where you'd end up. After about 10 minutes of driving you started driving down a familiar street. One you knew all too well. You came at a stop to a red light. You scoffed and leaned your head against the wheel 'what am i doing here' you thought before pulling your head back up to see that the light was now green. You continued driving and parked right across the street fron his house. There were his parents car, and his car in the driveway

Then you saw something you wish you could unsee. Naella was walking out of his house him following behind her with his lips pressed into a thin line. She stopped in front of his white car and turned around facing him. He rolled his eyes after 30 seconds and leaned down placing a chaste kiss to her lips and the sight made you crash and burn. You were now crying your eyes out across the street from your ex's house, sobbing and hitting the wheel as your tears fell into your lap.

The radio was low but you could still hear the music well enough. The song that was playing just made your heart shatter even more.

"Cause you said forever now i drive alone past your street" you laughed at the lyrics, so fucking ironic. You needed to get home, you started your car, your eyes red and puffy as you made your way out of his neighborhood. You heard your phone go off a couple of times but you simply ignored it and kept driving until you got home. You grabbed your things and walked in the house and when you got up to your room you threw your phone, keys and your wallet on your bed and made your way to the bathtub. You ran the water, squeezing some bubble soap in there and grabbing a bath bomb before turning off the water once the tub was full.

You got in, instantly relaxing once your body besides your neck and up were fully submerged in the water. You grabbed the bath bomb dropping it into the water, you watched it as it fizzed out changing the color of the water almost instantly.

When you got out you picked up your phone only to see you had gotten 99+ notifications from akaashi. Some of them text but mostly they were calls

'i saw you at my house y/n why didn't you come in' you rolled your eyes after seeing that text and shut off your phone was he really that oblivious.

It was now monday again and you texted yachi and kiyoko in the gc you all had the same night and told them what happened and what you saw, of course they were threatening to cut off his dick and overall just trying to make you feel better in general.

It was now lunchtime and akaashi has been trying to talk to you the whole day but you were avoiding him, you didn't want to talk to him because you knew if he said the right thing you'd go back and you weren't going to be that girl who puts themselves in a position that just keeps hurting them and is gonna end up broken in the long run.

"Y/N pleaseee talk to me i need to explain" that was the latest text he sent you which was this morning and you were tempted to text back but like the other days lately you just ignored it.

You were now in your car headed to your favorite food place since it was lunch and sometimes they let 3rd years go off campus to get food, bokuto was in the car with you since you both wanted the same thing.

Once you got your food you drove back to school, and since the place wasn't that far from school you still had 20 minutes left of lunch so you both sat in your car and ate until the bell rang and by that time you were finished with your food. You hurried and cleaned up, locking your doors after you both got out and threw your trash in the nearest trash can.

You sluggishly walked to your next class of the day, your bag hanging off one of your shoulders. When you got in class you saw akaashi sitting in your seat. You rolled your eyes still walking over to your seat and putting your bag down onto your desk.

"im not in the mood move" your voice was a little hoarse but your statement was clear

"okay but will you talk to me after class" he stood up standing in front of the seat still not allowing you to sit down.

'Whats the worst he could say' you thought. You shrugged your shoulders and gently moved him out of the way taking your seat

"whatever" your elbow resting on the desk with your chin in your hand.

He nodded and walked to his seat and started fiddling with his pencil. You could feel his eyes on you basically the whole class but you didn't want to look at him so you just ignored it and did your work dreading for what was to come at the end of class.

A hour and a half later, the bell ring signaling it was time for your last class. You had already packed up your stuff 5 minutes prior so you would be ready to go. Once you got out of the class akaashi followed shortly behind you. You stopped in your tracks making him bump into you and you moved forward a little from the contact.

"What do you want to say you have 3 minutes" by now the hallways were cleared students had been rushing to get to their next class.

"naella wasn't pregnant also she's blackmailing me, thats why you saw us kiss. She saw your car and knew you were watching and she asked me to kiss her or she would leak your nudes" what. the. fuck. did he just say.

Your eyes were red and you swear if it was possible smoke would be coming out your ears. You slowly turned around to face him and asked him to repeat himself just to make sure you heard right. He repeated himself and you did in fact hear him correctly.

"i know it sounds crazy and all but, when she was at my house saturday her phone kept going off while she was in the bathroom and i grabbed to turn it off and her sister was texting her things leading to say she was never pregnant and she never had a child" his head was hung low and he was fiddling with his fingers

"keiji, she doesn't have any nudes of me i've never taken any pictures like that and does she know you know" you asked

he blew out a shaky breath as she shook his head "thank god and no, her sister texted her saying something along the lines of  'stop lying to him, you know damn well you dont have a child' after i read that she came out of the bathroom and i told her she needed to leave so i rushed her out of the door and she said she didn't have a ride so i drove her home" the bell had rung again this time it was the late bell.

Thats all you thought about for the rest of the day and night, and the rest of the week went on like that, you not in your normal headspace and always zoning out. You needed to do something about this and asap
