we found this empty building to try and jog jet's memories. i tied him up on a chair and everyone gathered in front of him. after i was done i stood next to sokka.

"the dai li must have sent jet to mislead us, and that janitor was part of their plot, too."
"i bet they have appa here in the city. maybe he's in the same place they took jet. where did they take you?"

jet looked up from the floor and at aang "nowhere. i- i don't know what you're talking about."

"we need to find a way to jog his real memories."
"i have an idea but it won't be pretty." i said with a smirk
"or maybe katara could kiss him. that should bring something back."

she put her hands on her hips "maybe you should kiss him, sokka"
"hey just an idea." aang had his head down, i could tell he was jealous "a bad one"

"oo wait i got it!" sokka went over to the mattress and grabbed a piece of straw and stuck into jet's mouth. "i don't think it's working." he then spit it out

"try to think of something from your past that triggers your emotions."
"the fire nation, remember what they did to you family? close your eyes."

that sparked my attention and i looked up curious

"picture it." something clicked in jet's mind. it was stressing him out, he was dripping with sweat "no! its too painful."

"it would've been more painful i was jogging your memory." i said shrugging
"y/n untie jet." katara requested "you sure?" "yes i am"

i did as she asked and untied him.

katara walked over behind jet "here maybe this will help." she waterbended some water out of her canteen and onto the sides of jet's head. the water started to glow, so i'm guessing she's trying to heal his brain?

"they took me to a headquarters under the water, like a lake." he said "wait remember what joo dee said? she said she went on vacation to lake laogai."

jet stood up "that's it! lake laogai"

at the lake.

"so where's this secret headquarters?" sokka asked "under the water, i think."

toph pointed to the right "there a tunnel right there, near the shore." she walked towards where she pointing, whistling.

she jumped, bending the tunnel up above water. she walked to the end of it and we all followed behind. toph bended the top of revealing a ladder leading to the tunnels.

i tried to go first but jet stopped me "let me go first." i raised my brow "no thanks"
i went down the ladder and he followed.

this is my chance to defeat the dai li.

as soon as ever reached the bottom we hid behind a wall. i waited for a second to make sure the coast was clear. as soon as it was i led everyone.

jet came up next to me. "it's all starting to come back to me." i stayed focus. we came across a room and there was guy hypnotizing a bunch of women "i'm joo dee. welcome to ba sing se" they repeated the phrase.

i kept moving, now following jet "i think there might be a cell big enough to hold appa up ahead."

we reached a door "i think it's through here." something felt off though. i quickly raised my guard and let a small amount of ora out. i took both my swords out gripping them tightly.

jet opened the door and led us in. i looked around and it was empty. the ceiling had a bunch of hooks attached to chains.

"now that's something different." ignoring sokka i looked closer and saw long feng. i was struggling to contain my bloodlust "you have made yourselves enemies of the state. take them into custody."
