Chapter 22

Hayley POV

As soon as Jack left I don't know what I felt.
So I thought to waste some time to finish a piece of art. As I was finishing my drawing having my playlist on shuffle. when I was almost done when I heard broken home this song I feel like I can relate to some of it and it's by a band called 5sos I don't know who they are but they sound good as I had it playing though my phone on loud volume I didn't notice people standing at the door till I looked up it was the boys and jack all smiling that not weird at all.

Ashton POV

As Calum sentence was interrupted by a knock on the door which happens often. As I open it I see jack one of the interns but also a good friend.
"Hey jack you alright"I say as I see him rub his neck which he does when he gets nervous
"Yeah is it alright if I come in and speak to you guys"he says I'm confused he doesn't have to ask he knows the answer but this seems serious.

"Sure"Luke says as I close the door behind him and sit back on the chair next to Micheal.
"Okay I'm just going to get to the point i know one of your guys patients"okays that a bit wired because it hardly ever we are all on a case together the only case at the moment is Hayley hold on a minute.
"Are You talking about hayley"Calum smiles as he says her name because he glad to have her back we all are.
"Um yeah we were best friends and"he was interrupted by Luke
"What how. Why didn't you tell us"he says and jack looks kinda nervous
"Well we were best friends, you know how I meet you guys"he says which makes us nod because he was Micheal and Calum patient at one point.
"Yeah what about it are you going to finally tell us how you ended up that beaten up"Micheal says to be honest he never told us.

"Hayley foster dad. After I found out about her being abused and stitched her up a few times. Anyway Hayley thought I was dead because of Greg which I didn't know. I know what you guys are thinking after he beat me up he said if I told anyone about what I saw he would kill her and I couldn't risk her life and if I told the police what if one of his friends was a police officer Hayley would be dead." He said looking sad and angry. It does make sense Greg probably does have a thew connections and he did not want to risk his best friend getting killed.

"We understand. is that all what you wanted to tell us about her because we know it's her place to say what she wants."Calum says as I see jack shift in his seat
"No I wanted to talk about Hayley she mentioned to me that before she meet you guys she was throwing up blood in the toilets at school and it was when you guys were there"he says oh shit
"She was the girl in the toilet when we walk by and herd a bang that was her being sick. Why didn't she tell us." Micheal says
"She just shrug it off and I think it was normal for her. I thought it was the punctured lung"he says that does make sense.
"Yep that make sense should we go and talk to her about this"Calum said we nod and got up and walk to hayley room as we got there we herd the song broken home which we all made before we become doctors .she was drawing till she noticed us and looked confused as we were all smiling we already told Jack about the band as the song came to an end.

"Well hello doctors what can I do for you"she smirking as she says that then burst out laughing but turns into a cough and she just sitting there smiling.

"Well Hayley you need to eat and we came to talk. Dr.wild could you get some soup for miss.storm"as soon as I say that I get an eye roll from jack as he mumbles and okay and Hayley glaring at me as we all enter as we all sit in the chairs.
"Hey I'm not that old dr.Irwin. you guys are the old ones"pointing at all of us as we just grin at this side of her.

"Hayley when we went to your school we heard you throwing up blood but we couldn't go in there because it would look weird with 4 men going into the girls toilets"Luke ask
"Yeah I forgot to tell you with everything going on I will tell you guys next time."as jack returns with the soup and puts in front of her.

"Okay Hayley.  we need you to try and eat seeing as you pulled the NG tube out.  to see if you can eat or if we have to put another one in and remember there a toilet in your room"Calum says as she nodes as she reaches for the spoon a tacks a sip of it she mages to get 2 spoon falls before she run quickly to the toilet throwing what she just ate up as Calum get behind her holding up her hair.

"Shh Hayley it alright" as she still throwing up but now it probably the fluids, medicine which we have given her.
"I don't" she could finish her sentence as more came out and soon she was just dry heaving over the toilet.
"I'm going to let you clean up we will be right out side when your ready" Calum says walking out looking worried and concerned which is how we all feel
"This is bad because her body cannot keep anything down her body does not get the nutrients it needs and will become more weaker then it already is."I whisper to Micheal and Luke and jack and Calum I know we're all thinking the same thing as we hear Hayley come out of the bathroom her body more pale and sit on the bed again as jack attached her to fluids.

"How bad is it" she says looking at all of us
"It's bad but hay we just need to put the NG tube back in and I will be there with you"jack says she nods gently hugging Jack.
"Hayley how long ago did you actually eat"Luke says as we see her look up at us with tears in her eyes what she says next makes me so disgusted with people that they think they can do that to someone.
