Chapter 33

Jack POV

Ben is next to me at the table as we are eating, all I can think of is that I'm glad that Hayley can get to know Ben. That she also excepts him as I was nervous of her reaction would be, as when My father found out we where together. He blocked all contact with me but that all right because we didn't really have a relationship as he wasn't a great dad anyway, even though it hurt I had Ben their to help me.

I wanted Ben to get to know Hayley and Hayley to  get to know him. But I forgot one thing we where all asking Hayley questions and I wasn't prepared for how she would react I knew everything eventually got to much for her.

I should of seen it sooner and when Hayley reacted  to. I knew all this is new to her and  her emotions are probably all over the place as she hasn't had time to properly realised what happened.

I knew that bring up therapy wasn't probably the best choice to do it yet and yeah Ben might help her if he wants after to tonight. As we all went to check on Hayley shocked at her outburst.

I lean over to Ben a whisper
" don't worry she normally not like that" I look at Calum who looks sad.

"I shouldn't of pushed it on her, I know Hayley  wants to get better,  I just want her to be happy and not be able to feel like she has  a ton of weight on her shoulders. I-I should of not brought it up straight away" You could feel in his voice he's was filled of guilt and regret.

"We shouldn't of pushed her to answer questions just because we also want to learn more about her and to make her feel comfortable with Ben but it seems we did the opposite" Luke says as Ben steps in and says.

"You guys did nothing wrong yeah you might of made a few mistakes but your going to make them. Yes you guys pushed Hayley to far but you all care for her and I understand I see it everday people who have been through things and are struggling." Ben says seriously at the end he's is right though.

"Should we go check on Hayley" Micheal spoke as we all nod and go up the stars we move faster tho as we here someon heavy breathing.

Their was Hayley leaning against her door with tears streaming down her face and her eyes glazed over. With her hand wrapped around her throa tightly restricting her from any oxygen.

"Micheal go grab a relaxer and a pair of gloves " i say as the rest of us tryied to get Hayley out of the episode.

"Hayley come back to us" Calum says as he slowly approached her when he saw her not realising her grip from her hands that where on her neck.

"Calum we need to get her hand off around her neck"Luke says as he looks at Calum and then Ashton.

"Ashton and Luke grab her hands gently, that might make her panic and her episode will worsen or it will end" Ben says as Ashton and Luke go past Calum as she starts kicking and gently try to get her hands as Micheal return with the relaxer and gloves.

It's like her body on autopilot and it has no control over itself. Hayley must be so deep in her memories that she can't hear us, if she could we are probably muffled.  Luke and Ashton managed to get her hands off her neck.

"Calum we going to have to give her a relaxer so it takes some of the stress of her body as it still healing" Ben says as he puts on the gloves on and relaxer from Micheal and gently kneels down by Hayley.

I go over to Calum and pull him into a hug.
"She going to have more events like these but we will all be here for you and Hayley, it's hard watching her like this but remember we all just want to help her Calum" I whisper to him and realise him from the hug, see him look more relieved.

"Hayley I don't know if you can hear us or me but I'm going to inject you with a relaxer" Ben spoke gently as he grab her wrist and gently slides it in and injects it with Luke keeping a firm hold of her arm

We could all tell that it started working because Hayley heavy breathing seized and her whole body relaxed.

Ben turned to Calum looking guilty
"Sorry I had to do that I really didn't want to but I've dealt with this before and it's hard to pull the person out of if they been stuck in it a long time and if it's tons of memories it like overload on them mentally and physically"Ben says as he goes over to me and  grabs my hand and gives me a reassuring smile that calms the turmoil happening inside me.

I see Calum go over to Hayley carefully pick up her body and cradle her in his arms looking down at her sadly.

"Thanks everyone, I'm going to stay with Hayley for a while just make sure nothing happens" Calum spoke as Luke opens Hayley door and Ashton turns the light on.

"It's alright mate we will be down here if you need us"Micheal spoke as Calum closed the door, we all looked at each other concerned and whent back down stairs into the lounge.

No one talked for a while till we saw Calum come down and before any of us spoke he said
"I think we need to slow down with hayley before talking to her about therapy or school we just need to let her get comfortable here and around us" Calum had red eyes we he had obviously been crying but no one pointed it out.

"Hayley asleep now anyway and won't wake up till the morning, maybe we could just put her on some medication for now for the anxiety and her panic attack to help her while her body heals" calum said whilst coming to sit down. We all talked for an hour just about everything that's been happening before me and Ben decide to leave as it was getting late and we have work in the morning.

I just hope that everything can eventually work out, no matter how long it takes to do so.
