Chapter 31

Hayley pov

I woke up early in the morning, this time was unusual tho as I didn't get a nightmare or flashback. Maybe it was something they gave me or I just knew that I have people who care about me and actually want me.

I'am stuck  in my thoughts for a who nows how long! I decide to have a shower probably going against medical advice, but it nice being clean especially when your free to have a shower without getting a beating.

I walk in clean my teeth and look at what product they have put in hear most of the brands I don't recognise. I look at the two fluffy grey towels on the radiator, I take my clothes off and don't look at my body as my back faces the mirror I put a bag over my cast as I head into the shower which I do in 5 minutes use to being pressured into making it quick.

Ignoring the pain and that my body is red by how hot I had it I grab the black T-shirt with a pattern and some joggers that where big so big on me and had to roll it up on the legs and pull the strings so It doesn't fall down and put on the shirt and go back to my bed and let my hair dry as I feel the pain and I just realised how am I going to brush my hair without it hurting.

I see the time and see it 8am already I herd my door open and see it Calum with a smirk. he comes in placing a hand on my head ruffling my wet hair.

"So I just remembered that you would probably have a shower and no way to brush your hair with out hurting yourself, so I came to the rescue" he says as he grabs the hair brush on the side and sits on the bed.

I stare at him as he gives me that irritating smile.

"Okay but shouldn't you be at work or at least one of you" i say as I sit up and soon feel Calum gently run the brush thought my hair and holding the top of my hair when he felt a knot.

"Yes but Your my patient as well, the only reason your even out of the hospital is because your living with us, that and where the best doctors in the hospital. Plus we have enough people and Micheal, ash, Calum are all working today but they will be back later" he says as he carry's on stroking the brush though my hair.

"I just don't want you guys to be having to be here because of me" i say as Calum laughed as he finished brushing my hair and pulled me into a hug resting his head on mine.

"You won't be here all the time, check ups and your could spend time in our offices or the heads lounge" Calum says he looks down at me and grins.

"I'm not going in the heads teacher lounge, I still can't believe your where smart enough to be a doctor nevemind the head of a department" i laugh as Calum now glare at me but we interrupted by both our stomachs rumbling.

" I can't believe you would insult me like that it really hurts I was going to be kind with you today but as you've done that, you will have to spend the day with me, also let's make food" he says grinning like a child.

"Really you who's a man child and-" i can't finish speaking as Calum suddenly pick me up and starts carrying me down stairs. I try to wriggle out but he just tightens it being careful of my injuries.

"Well if I'm a man child then what are you a toddler, anyway after you have eaten you are getting a present" he says as we arrive at the kitchen he sits me on a stall as goes across the counter pulling out a variety of food.

"How dose scrambled egg on toast sound" I just shrug and look at him

"As long as it food I will eat it, can I help" I spoke as I lay my head on the counter as I felt pain got thought me.

"Okay then scrambled eggs on toast coming right up and no you can't help your still recovering" he spoke as I lifted my head to see what he was doing and within a couple of minutes we where both eating it.
