Aurora knew she would regret this in the morning. But that worry was soon drifting from her mind the more and more George ran his hands over her body. He had already worked her shorts off from her legs and had flipped them around on the couch so that he was hovering over her.
Undressing each other slowly was nice. They had always been so needy and fast every other time they were together. There was something romantic about taking time to relish in the discovery of each other's bodies. To be honest, it was making Aurora quite emotional.
Her eyes were welling up with tears, but she blinked them away and leaned up to begin plastering kisses along George's bare chest and collarbone. Her hands traveled down his sides and pushed his boxers down before wrapping her legs around his waist.
They hadn't spoken a word to one another since she agreed to one more night. The static of her small television set was filling the room, aside from the heavy breathing between the two of them.
Aurora's hands wrapped around George's biceps as she reached up with her lips to kiss him. The kiss was gentle yet still needy. George had his hands fisted tightly, pressing into the couch beneath her. Moving to steady all his weight onto one hand, George reached down between them to align the tip of his cock to the wet, warm entrance between her legs. Pushing his way inside, slow, George sucked in a deep breath and let his head fall into the crook of her neck.
Holding him close to her as his hips started to move against her – a shiver running down Aurora's spine as she felt his lips trail all the side of her neck. She still didn't want to speak. She was afraid of ruining the moment because she knew she was already feeling emotional. Even though they said that they would be friends – this felt like a goodbye.
Shaking away her thoughts at the sound of a moan escaping George's lips, Aurora shifted so she could push him from her as she rolled them over. Instantly straddling his hips once his back hit the couch, Aurora sat still for a moment. She stared down at George, taking everything about his face and putting it on a shelf in the back of her mind. Things she did not want to forget – his freckles, the look on his face when she took control, the way his teeth nibbled on his lower lip to stop himself from making anymore loud moans.
Finding her rhythm again, Aurora let her hands move to George's chest for support. His hands soon found their way to her hip to help guide her, and before long, Aurora was throwing her head back and letting out a moan. George was smirking – he couldn't help himself. He wanted to know that he was the one doing this to her. This one final time, he wanted everything to be perfect. He didn't want Aurora thinking of any other man when he was inside of her – even when he was near her.
George wrapped his arms around her waist, moving to shift them around on the couch again but lost his footing and soon crashed down onto the floor. Pulling Aurora with him, George's back smacked the floor as his hands stayed on her waist to make sure she didn't get hurt.
There was another moment of silence, George staring up at Aurora for a moment before he started laughing. Aurora soon followed – a soft giggle escaping her lips as she quickly covered her mouth and slapped his chest. "George, bloody hell," She whispered. Her voice was hoarse at first, but a few more giggles escaped before she started leaning down to peck his lips softly. "Are you ok?"
George kissed her back, his fingertips pressing into her waist as he held her down against him. "I'm more than ok." He whispered back, letting his lips run along her jawline until he reached her neck. He flipped them around, remaining on the floor. His hand gripped onto the back of her knee and lifted her leg higher around his waist as he started moving his hips against her again.
He started out slow, soon picking up speed as he let his head fall back into the crook of her neck again. He was feeling really good and knew there was only a small amount of time until this was over, and he would have to leave. He pulled back slightly to glance down at her before speaking, "I'm close, Rory." He told her, his hips starting to slow again as he kissed her lips gently.
Her fingertips danced across his back, up on his shoulders, before lingering on his chest. She let him kiss her – her eyes falling shut as she kissed him back passionately. The tears were beginning to gather in her eyes again and before she could try and hide them, they started streaming down her cheeks. "Come for me, Georgie," She whispered, hoping that her voice didn't sound too pathetic as she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down further so she could kiss him. She was hoping that if she distracted her lips, her mind would follow, and the tears would stop.
George didn't notice the tears as first, but when he heard her voice, he could instantly pick up that she was crying. A part of him felt ashamed for not stopping – and then another part felt oddly intimate with what was happening between them. He wasn't crying, but his eyes were not dry. His hands held onto her as he continued to pump his hips. His lips crashed back down against hers, while one hand slithered to her face, wiping the tears from her cheeks as he felt himself reach his climax. He opened his eyes now and noticed that the tears were still flowing from her eyes as his hips started to slow – his warm seed filling her up as he finished.
With a few sniffles, Aurora tightened her grip around George. She was holding onto him in a tight hug, her face pressed into the crook of his neck as she continued to cry. George's hips stilled, keeping a tight grip on her as he let her hold onto him and cry.
"Please don't cry."
"I-I'm sorry. I'm not..." Aurora's voice trailed off as she felt George pulled himself out of her, leaving her feeling empty and alone. "I'm not good at goodbyes." She told him, watching him as he shifted to lay beside her, though kept one arm around her waist.
"This isn't a goodbye. I promise you... I won't let this be a goodbye." He told her, running his hand along her side before letting it come to rest on her stomach. "We'll get through this. You'll see," George pressed a soft kiss to the side of her face. "Everything will be ok soon enough."
Aurora let her eyes fall shut as the feeling of his lips against her temple. "I believe you. I do. I'm sorry, I'm just emotional." Aurora turned her body so that she was laying on her side, looking into George's eyes.
They stayed like that for a few minutes. Just staring into each other's eyes, listening to the other's breathing. If Aurora hadn't cried out all her tears earlier, she would for sure be crying again now. She held it in, though. Not wanting to ruin the semi-comfortable silence that now surrounded them.
"I should go."
Aurora nodded slowly, chewing on her lower lip as they pulled away from one another. She pushed herself up and quickly pulled on her clothing, turning away from George as she did so.
George dressed quickly too. Tucking in his shirt and brushing his fingers through his hair to make it not as wild. Once he was sure he looked presentable, he looked over to Aurora. She still hadn't turned around to face him and he was wondering if she ever would.
"Uh- I..." George cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck as he continued watching her. He had been right – she was refusing to turn around. He could see the slight shake in her shoulders. She had started crying again.
"Goodbye Aurora." George said softly. Not wanting to make things any harder on her, George turned around and slipped his shoes on quickly before he rushed out of her flat, closing the door behind him.
Aurora has been standing there, squeezing her eyes shut as she listened to George dress and fumble around. She knew he was trying to figure out how to leave. She was afraid to turn around. She was afraid of showing him how much she was crying over him. She knew they had gotten too attached. Whatever was happening between them had been the start of something toxic. They said they were helping one another on their problems – but that was far from the truth. Aurora knew that much. Which was why she had broken it off with him in the first place. It didn't mean it wasn't a hard decision – because it was.
Hearing the click of the door, Aurora let out a sigh and began wiping furiously at her cheeks to remove the evidence that she was crying. She turned around and walked to the door to lock it. Her hand rested on the knob – a part of her wanting to rip the door open and chase after him. But she wouldn't... She didn't. Instead she turned around and sunk to the floor, arms wrapped tightly around her knees as she brought them to her chest.
"Goodbye George."
