Aurora's birthday passed just like any other summer day. She had ended up, reluctantly of course, telling Theo it was her birthday when he had finally woken up naked next to her. She was able to score a day off from work and had explained that she was going to spend some time with Ginny.
Theo, always the gentleman, had dressed and kissed Aurora a few times before bidding her goodbye and telling her that if they were going out for drinks that he would join them later. Aurora smiled and nodded, "I'll give you a ring." She told him, letting her lips find his again before she closed the door to her flat after watching him walk away down the hallway.
"Bloody fucking hell." The brunette groaned to herself and made sure her locks were on the door before turning around and stripping herself from her robe. Might as well walk around in her birthday suit on her actual birthday, right?
She made herself a quick breakfast before sauntering into her bathroom and hopping in the shower. She thought it was best to wash herself free of Theo's scent among other things.
Once she was washed clean from head to toe, Aurora wrapped herself back up in her robe and picked out a floral print sundress to wear for the day. Typically, it did not get too hot in England, even in the summertime. She made sure to pluck her chambray button up and slipped it up her arms and leaving it open.
She made sure she had everything she needed before walking out of her flat and locking up.

The walk was not too bad from her place to Charing Cross Road. She enjoyed getting the chance to stretch her legs.
"Rory!"
Ginny Weasley quickly ran up to her best friend once the brunette stepped foot onto the cobblestone street of Diagon Alley.
"Happy Birthday!" Ginny beamed, wrapping her arms around Aurora in a tight hug.
"Oi, Gin! Let me breath!" Aurora joked, hugging the redhead back just as tight.
The girls caught up over lunch, digging into a share basket of some chips towards the end. "Have you heard from your parents?" Ginny asked softly. She knew this would be a touchy subject, especially being Aurora's birthday.
"No. But who knows what they're doing right now. Honestly, I don't even think they remember that I moved out of the house. They may have sent an owl for all I know." Aurora felt bad for a moment, chewing on her lower lip before crunching down on a handful of chips. She licked her fingers to collect the extra salt that had rubbed off before looking over at Ginny with a grin.
"Which reminds me that I should probably head there to clean and see if there has been any mail delivered. It's been about two months since I've been back there." Aurora told Ginny, sipping on her glass of water. She had decided to hydrate herself now – she knew that Ginny wanted to go out and dance. Aurora was almost certain she would be sleeping on somebody's couch tonight.
"Well, let me know if you'd like company when you do go back." Ginny purposed with a smile. She finished off her portion of chips before cleaning her hands with her napkin.
