George let his body sink into the ground below him. He was safe and he knew that. His muscles didn't need to be tense anymore.

"I mean the thought of it is nice, you know. Doing all of the cheesy couple things. I've been feeling a little confused lately, though. When I used to think about being in love, it made me feel all warm, but now it makes me feel sick to my stomach. Maybe I just haven't found the right person yet."

Dream let's out a soft, short chuckle. Dream wiggles his way closer to George until their arms are brushing together. George keeps his gaze on the sky. Dream moves his hand to George's cheek and turns his face towards his.

"I want you to look at me, George. I want you to look at me just like the way that you look at the moon." Dream smiles at George and takes his hand off of his face. George lays his head onto Dreams chest.

"Anything for you, Dream."

George goes into the guest bedroom that Sapnap was once sleeping in and throws his limp body onto the bed. The whole night was a blur to him. He fell asleep, feeling the happiest that he had felt in a long time.

"Good morning, George. Did you sleep well?" Dream asks, flipping a pancake onto an empty plate.

"I did, thanks. Can we talk about what was said last night, please?"

"Yeah, I guess." Dream hands George his plate and they both sit down at the wooden table in the middle of the sparsely decorated dining room. "What do you want to talk about? I mean everything that I said, George."

"I mean everything that I said too, but does this mean that you-"

"It means that I care about you. I would do anything for you." Dream shovels a large piece of the soggy pancake into his mouth. Neither of them were very good at cooking.

"I know that, Dream. I would do anything for you too, but do you, you know, have feelings?"

"I have a lot of feelings, George. I am not completely sure what they mean though. I just need time I think."

"If you aren't sure about how you feel then why did you tell me all of this now? You could have waited until you were sure."

"I wanted you to know." Dream gets up from his chair and grabs George's empty, porcelain plate. He walks over to the sink and throws the plates into the sink, which was now half full of dirty dishes. "I had to make sure that I told you before it was too late."

"So what does this mean?"

"It means that we are friends. We will always be friends. Things just might be a little bit different now."
