Just Us and The Stars// Dreamnotfound

Issues

Dream opens the door to his apartment and they both walk in. Water drips off of both of them, coating the floor with a thin layer of moisture.

"Finally, I thought you guys drowned or something." Sapnap says, sitting on the couch watching some sort of anime show.

"You should have came. It was a lot of fun." George announces, making Dream smile.

"I thought I would give you guys some alone time, if you know what I mean." Sapnap winks at both of them. "Is that Dreams hoodie? I'm jealous."

"Uh, yeah. I got cold from the water." George looks down at the soggy, lime green hoodie. "I'm going to go shower now."

George gets out of the shower and throws on some warm clothes. He reluctantly grabs Dream's hoodie to return it to him. He hears faint mumbling from down the stairs and he tries to listen in to what they were saying. He couldn't make out much.

"Here, Dream." George tosses the wet hoodie over to Dream. "Is everything alright?" Sapnap and Dream exchange worried looks then Sapnap looks down to his phone. He flashes the screen at George.

"I'm sorry, George. I have to leave tomorrow." George examines the phone. A plane ticket to Houston, Texas for tomorrow at 11 am.

"What? Why?" George asks shocked.

"My family is having issues and they want me there. They said it was urgent." Sapnap pleads. "I really wish that I could stay longer but I don't think that I have a choice." George looks over to Dream and he flashes a quick, small smile.

George's heart drops as he realized that he is going to have to stay with Dream, alone, without Sapnap. This was exactly what he was worried about.

"We are going to have to make the most out of today then." Dream suggests.

"Dream it almost 8 pm. We don't have much time to do anything." George reminds him.

"Well then we better get going then." Dream has always known what to do. He was always prepared and ready. George loved that.
