"I think i'm just going to wait. I am just not comfortable with it yet," George explains.

"That's fine, take all the time that you-" Dream gets cut off by the loud ringing of his phone. "I will be right back."

George hears the muffled banter coming from Dream's room. He tries his best to listen in to what was being said. He could only make out a few sentences.

I already told you. I can't. It's not my fault. I know that it was dumb. I am not sure. Not now. I can't do this right now.

He sounded upset. George goes and lays on his bed. He stares at the ceiling, pointing out shapes formed from the textured pattern. He felt guilty for not checking on Dream. He grabs his phone and opens the notes app. His notes was usually the only place that he could go when he needed someone to talk to. He types out a few things.

Things took a turn between Dream and I. I am not sure if it was for the good or bad. Isn't this what I wanted? I finally know that he feels the same way. Things just feel off. I wonder if he feels the same way. He had an interesting phone call. He sounded upset. He probably needs me right now. Why can't I be there when people need me? Why is expressing my emotions so hard? Maybe someday things will be easier.

His head jerks as he hears his door slightly open.

"Dream?"

It was Patches. Since he had gotten to Florida, she had never let him make contact. He slowly reaches his hand out and she flinches. She takes a step or two away and stares at him. He reaches his hand further and she runs out of view.

"She will warm up to you soon, don't worry," Dream jokes.

"I am beginning to think that she is scared of everyone but you."

"And Sapnap."

"And Sapnap," George repeats. "What was that about?"

"What was what about?"

"The phone call," George says, feeling guilty.

"Oh, it was Sapnap. He just had to ask me about something. It's nothing to worry about," Dream reassures. "Do you know how many more days until you have to go back?"

"Two days. I don't want to leave, Dream."

"I don't want you to leave, George."

They didn't do much for the rest of the day. They mostly just cleaned and had some small talk about whatever came to mind. Dream eventually told George that he was tired and was going to head to bed. George wasn't feeling tired though. He felt wide awake. He went back to his notes.

I never want to leave. I can't imagine being back home now. Especially without him. Going back to feeling alone and confused. Reassurance. I need reassurance before I leave. I need to know what will happen when I go back.

George throws on a jacket over his thin shirt and slips on a pair of shoes. He goes out to Dreams yard and sits on the grass. It was damp from the dew of the night but it didn't bother him. He stares aimlessly at the cars parked alongside the empty road. 2 white cars, 1 red car, 2 silver cars, and a black one. He continues to notice every detail around him. He examines the address numbers, the house colors, the pothole in the road, and the flowers that almost every house on the block had in their front yards.

"George? It's 3 in the morning."

Dream stood, holding his arms over his body, shivering. He walked towards George. He looked tired, as if he hadn't slept for days. He had a concerned look on his face.

"George?" He repeats himself.

"I guess I lost track of time," George replies.

"Why are you out here in the first place?"

"Why are you out here, Dream?"

"I was looking for you. I went to your room and you weren't there."  Dream trembles again.

"Did you need something?"

"Stop avoiding the question, George. Why are you out here."

George thinks about all of the possible excuses that he could use in the situation. No. He thought to himself. I want to be better at expressing my feelings. No better time than now.

"I needed a distraction. I don't want to leave you, Dream. I need you. I can't stop thinking about how we only have two more days together."

"One day now."

"Not helping, Dream."

"My bad. Let's go inside, it's freezing out here. Let's not think about how many days we have left and just make the most out of them. We need sleep so we have energy for tomorrow."

They both head back inside and say their good nights. They part ways and head to bed. They both fall asleep about an hour later, thoughts flooding their minds.

"Good morning, George."

"Good morning, Dream."

"Let's go to the store. We have nothing here." George agreed and they went to their local supermarket.

The car ride was fairly silent. They both didn't have much to say.

They grabbed what they needed and started to check out until something caught Dream's eye. He grabbed a disposable camera off a bare shelf and added it to the cart.

"What's that for?" George questioned.

"Just to remember this trip."

"I don't think that I will be forgetting it."
