George's breath gets heavy. It was all a dream. He was never with Dream. He never really got to feel Dream's comforting lips against his. It was all just a figure of his imagination. He turns on his computer reluctantly. He answers the discord call.

"Hello?" George spits out.

"Hey, George!" Sapnap screams. George tries to laugh but nothing comes out. "Everything okay?" Sapnap notices George's shaky breath.

"No." George didn't feel like lying to Sapnap right now. He needed to tell someone about what has going on. "I've been having these dreams."

"Dreams?" Sapnap sounded confused.

"Yeah, dreams. For a long time, I was having this recurring dream for a really long time-"

"What was it?" Sapnap cuts George off.

"Um, I wake up in this field. The grass is always cold and wet and then-" George stutters, nervous you say what happens next. "And then Dream shows up."

"Dream? What does he do?"

"He usually just asks where we are, but a few of the dreams have been a bit different." George decides to tell Sapnap everything. "In the most recent ones, he told me things that i've been too afraid to except."

"Like?"

"My feelings for Dream." George felt small in that moment, like anyone would tower over him. He felt guilty for putting all of this on Sapnap, and sick for telling him everything.

"Feelings? Do you mean-" Sapnap says after a short silence.

"Yeah, that's what I mean." George bites at the skin on his thumb.

"Are you ever gonna, you know, tell Dream?"

"No, well, I don't know. Tonight I had a different dream. I was in a plane crash and Dream brought me into an ambulance. I was hurting so bad but I had felt so confident. We kissed. I'll leave it at that." George thought back to the kiss. He continued to bite at the skin on his thumb. He missed Dream.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what to say, George." Sapnap was always terrible at advice but George didn't care. He just wanted to talk to someone.

"That's okay. You don't have to say anything. I just needed you to listen. One thing though, no telling Dream."

"I won't tell him, George. You should though."

"I don't want to ruin things. I know that nothing good is going to come from telling him." George looked back at the picture that Dream had sent him in the mirror. Everything about him made George smile.

"That's what you think. I know more than you do, George."
