"Thankyou for driving me home." Nasa harap na kami ngayon sa apartment ko. It'a already getting dark na. Kanina, habang nasa biyahe ay tahimik lang ako dahil hindi ko naman maintindihan ang pinag-uusapan ng dalawa.
Una niyang hinatid si Flynn. Mabuti nalang at alam niya yung address niya.
He just nod at nang bubuksan ko na sana ang pintuan ng Benz niya nang bigla siyang magsalita.
"Wala ka na bang nakalimutan? Pupunta pa ako sa mall. I can send you there."
M-mall?
Shit! My Groceries!
"Uh, I left my groceries there but I can walk naman-" Hindi na niya ako pinatapos pa at nagsimula ng mag drive.
When we arrived there, I quickly get out of his Benz and run towards the area where i left it. Shit! I even forgot to say thankyou to him. Maybe when we see each other again. When I saw mine out of the crowd, I quickly get it at lumabas na ng mall.
I was searching for a cab when suddenly a familiar Benz stopped infront of me.
And when the window open, I confirmed that it's really him. As he mentioned earlier, pupunta siya dito so maybe he's waiting for someone. I just smiled at him and took out my phone and did scrolling. I don't want to conclude something after he said 'I'm not his type.'
"Why are you still standing there?" Narinig ko siyang nagsalita pero dineadma ko lang yun dahil segurado naman akong hindi iyon para sakin. Why would he drive me home again,anyway? Maybe there's someone standing behind me, But I stopped from scrolling when he mentioned my name.
"Ezlyn Cohen." I looked up at him only to see how his jaw moved.
Napatingin ako sa likod ko pero wala namang katao-tao.
"Are you talking to me?" While pointing myself with my finger. Looking confused.
"Obviously. What are you waiting for? Get in." Saka niya binuksan ang pintuan ng Benz niya.
"Huwag na. I'm okay naman Morris. I'll just search for a cab-" I didn't finish myself when he suddenly get out of the car, get my groceries from me and put it inside the Benz. After that, he push me next.
"I said magcacab nalang ako."
"It's not good for you. It's getting late. May mga bastos na driver out there." Tumahimik nalang ako at siya naman, nagsimula ng mag drive.
Why is he acting so weird lately? Kakasabi niya lang na hindi niya ako type pero he's here right now, driving me home. Nang nasa harap na kami ng apartment ko, I have the guts to ask him.
"By the way Morris, I just wanna be honest with you ha. No offensement but why are you acting so weird now? I mean kakasabi mo lang na I'm not your type pero heto ka ngayon hinahatid ako pauwi dahil sabi mo, may mga driver na bastos. Isn't that showing your affection for me? I don't want to conclude something after you rejected me. As if you care naman kung may mangyaring masama sakin." Hindi na ako makatingin sakaniya, hinihintay ang sagot niya.
"I do." Maikli niyang sagot. He do? Yes, he did rejected me!
"Yeah, you did rejected me." Halos pabulong na iyon pero still, he heard it.
"No, I mean I do care for you." I heard him sigh. Parang lalabas na ang puso ko sa tuwa dahil sa sinabi niya.
"Really? You have the guts to joke around." I said that with a fake smile plastered on my face. How i wish this is a real one.
"I'm being serious here." He said that seriously in a monotone voice.
"B-but you just reject me! Hindi pwede iyon. I mean sinabi mong hindi ako yung type mo. No boobs, No ass.
It hurts my ego man! At ngayon sasabihin mo na you care for me? What a scumbag!" Nakita kong nag-iba ang expression niya. "Dugyot pala ha-" But to my shock, pinutol niya iyon ng mababaw na halik. I froozed for a moment.
Nang bumitaw na siya, tumingin ako sakaniya-asking an explanation why he did that! He k-kissed me!
I can sense that he wants to say something but he just can't! Nakita ko pa ngang nakaawang ang kaniyang bibig, ready to say something pero nauuwi sa buntong-hininga.
"What? Say it." I urged him to do so. Napatitig siya sakin at hinanda ang sarili sa pagsabi nito. Is that really hard for him to speak up? Habang ako,parang aso na naghihintay sa sagot niya.
"C-can you court me?"
