Cat's POV

It had been only a day since Magy's mall fall. Today we were all planning to go to the mall again! Magy and Hayes were going together. Zoey and Jamison were going together. My brother: Dan, Phil, Emma and I were being loners together.

I haven't introduced Dan, he is my 18 year old brother and even though he is only a year older than me, he always boasts about how little I am. Today he was bored at home so I invited him along.

Anyways, I love the mall, the variety of people there is the best part. The only downfall is that I never have enough money to buy every outfit desired.

While we were walking towards American Eagle, I heard the most amazing instrument being played. I turned my head in the direction and saw a certain ginger strumming a guitar on one of the benches. The ginger had his guitar case set before him as a crowd consistently tossed change into it.

I completely forgot the world around me as I joined the crowd. The song he was playing seemed so familiar. Had I heard it before?

Eventually the posse called after me but I didn't dare to look at them, my mind was focused on the guy. My group decided to silently join me in listening to perfection. We all stood there for the next 10 minutes, until he thanked the crowd and began to pack up.

I wasn't ready to leave so I just took a seat on the bench next to him. My friends then took this as a cue to leave me and walk into the nearest store.

"Hope you enjoyed the songs," The guy muttered and then realization struck his features, "Cat? Is that you?"

I nodded, "Ed! It's been ages!"

That is when our in-depth conversation began, we started talking and didn't stop. Ed was simply perfection, just how I remembered him. It has been 6 years since we had last talked. Therefore, I lost track of time, but my posse later pulled me away as we had to leave. This was of course after Ed and I exchanged numbers. Today was a good day, my favorite day!

Emma's POV

So we all decided to go to the mall again after Magy's incident. I wanted to go to Forever 21, but everyone else wanted to go to American Eagle. I told them I would meet them by the cookie stand later. It was actually kind of nice to have some alone time as weird as that sounds! While I was at Forever 21 I got some really cute boots and a cute sweater that was gray. When I was done I went to go buy a cookie while waiting for everyone else.

So I got 2 chocolate chip cookies with a smoothie and sat down. Something caught my eye though, the girls were walking towards me when I saw Cat stop and sit next to this good looking guy wait, it's Ed Sheeran. I joined Zoey and Magy in awe. It seems that Ed and Cat have known each other before. Us girls knew it was our cue to leave, while we were waiting for Cat to finish up Zoey, Magy and I all made our way to a table near the food court with the guys.

Magy's POV

It was seriously Ed Sheeran. I saw Cat looking at him with a strange gaze. Cat never says who she has a crush on because she doesn't have crushes. She wants to be independent. Don't get me wrong that's great, but from her look anyone could tell she was absolutely, instantly obsessed with him. Emma, Zoey and I decided to leave. We all sat there like professional stalkers watching Ed and Cat.

"We really need to learn how to read lips," Zoey commented. No one responded, careful not to brake the concentration. This was the very moment Emma, Zoey, and I have been hoping for. I even think Cat has been hoping for it too.
