"What'd you do to Calum? He called me yesterday, fuming," Dakota exclaimed during lunch.

"He started flirting with me, then I was like 'the fuck?', then he was like 'dude, you should be grateful because I'm like a god!', and then I called him a douche and he just got mad," I explained, maybe a little over-exaggerated.

"Well, he's pissed, and probably still is. You better watch out, he's not one to be messed with," she warned, finishing her stretches.

Next thing you knew, Calum was barging in, literally.

"Alright, line up! I'm not taking any shit today, so be prepared to WORK!" The Kiwi ordered. He honestly was acting like how you'd expect him to act all the time. He usually had a okay attitude (or at least from what I've seen so far), but he was different today, and I think I had something to do with it.

Practice was hell. Calum was serious when he said he wasn't going to put up with our shit. One guy said he had to go piss, and Calum stopped right in the middle of the routine to go off on him. And believe me, it wasn't pretty. It was like he was on his period or something. Like, damn.

"Hey, how was practice?" Ashton asked as I slid into the passenger seat.

"Bloody hell," I muttered, irritation floating through every syllable.

"Awe, I'm sorry Luke," Ashton apologized for someone else's actions, which warmed my heart. Ashton was always like this. Always so kind and caring. He was like the good dad figure I never had. "I'll tell you what, why don't we go get some ice cream? Then, I can tell you the surprise I have for you," he suggested, smiling cockily over having a surprise for me.

"Really?! Ice cream and a surprise?! Hellz yeah!" I exclaimed, practically jumping up and down in my seat.

×××+××× (sorry not sorry about the back to back time skips, but the stuff in between is just too boring to be put into the story, so deal with it okay? Okay. Make a tfios reference and I'll fucking slit your throat... you have been warned.)

"Just tell me already, Ash!" I whined like the little kid that I am as we walked through the door of our shared apartment.

Ashton set the keys on the counter and sighed, "Alright alright. You ready?"

I nodded eagerly.

"Drum roll please," he mused, hitting imaginary drums. "And a three... two... one... we're getting new roommates!"

I froze, not because I wasn't happy or excited about it, I was just confused.

"Mikey and his friend," Ashton added, clearly seeing my questionable expression.

"Wait, we only have three rooms; how are we gonna have four people living here?" I pointed out and questioned.

"Yeah, about that..."

"Ash! I am not sharing a room with a total stranger!" I exclaimed, already knowing he wouldn't let Michael room with me.

"Luke! I moved out of the master bedroom and gave it to you, because I wanted to be nice, so you have the biggest room! Just deal with it, please!"

"Why don't you and Michael just share? I mean, you're practically dating each other, right?"

"Not technically," he shuffled on his feet, "but I would like to be. Wait, quit trying to find a way out of this! You're sharing your damn room, and that's final!" Now he really did sound like a father.

I pouted and quietly murmured under my breath as I went to my room. I knew Ashton wasn't mad with me; I think he was just settled on his idea.

Well, I guess I now have a new roommate. Maybe this won't be so bad... but then again, this could turn how to be terrible. I mean, I will be sharing a room with a stranger. Yup, this will definitely be bad.
