Luke's P.O.V
"So, how's sharing a room with Cal been?" Ashton asked, placing some cereal in the cart.
"Fine." I shrugged. It had been more than just 'fine'. I mean, we almost kissed for Christ's sake. And if I said that I didn't enjoy it, I would totally be lying. That was the point when I realized I wanted to socialize with him; I wanted to be his friend- No, when I realized I wanted to be more than just his friend.
"Good, good," Ashton nodded, pushing the cart a bit more down the aisle.
"How you and Mikey doing?" I inquired.
"Great," he grinned, most likely at the thought of Michael.
"You done it yet?" I questioned, not really caring if we were in a grocery store or not.
"Maybe," he whispered, kneeling down to the bottom shelf.
"Ooh! Ashy's got a boyfriend!" I mused, knowing they were officially, considering Ashton's not the type of guy to fuck someone when they're not even in a relationship.
"Yeah, yeah, just go get some flour, we're almost out of it." He waved me off, placing another item in the basket.
"You and your damn baking," I muttered.
"Hey, don't act like you don't love and appreciate it!" He exclaimed as I walked away.
I chuckled as I went to a different aisle. It's true, though. I do love his baking; he always cooks for me. Also, if it wasn't for his baked goods, I probably wouldn't have been able to get Calum up to the apartment.
Calum's P.O.V
We were all seated in the living room, eating the dinner that Ashton had cooked and watching TV. When we were done, Luke placed our plates in the sink and left with Ashton to go get dessert.
"You like Luke don't you?" Michael questioned suddenly.
I turned my attention to him, seeing that he was staring at me. "What? No."
"Yes, you do. I see the way your eyes shine when you look at him, and his do the same," he argued, making me think back to when Luke and I cuddled, remembering that his eyes did sparkle.
"Okay, fine, so what if I do?" I shrugged and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Oh my god! Calum's got a crush!" He squealed.
"Jeez, Michael, Calum down."
He laughed at my wordplay, and gave me a smile. "I've never seen you in love before; this is interesting."
"Mike, I don't think it's love." I shook my head.
"Cal, I've known you since we were kids, and I've seen you with so many different girls and guys; you've never looked at them the way you look at Luke. Ever," he informed me.
"You really think so?" I asked, still a little skeptical.
"Very."
I just smiled to myself and went back to watching the TV, waiting for the other boys to return with our desserts.
