'Ughh, fuck me, my head hurts...'

Wincing painfully, Mun-Su buried his face into his pillow. 'My head' he groaned, not opening his eyes yet, why did his bed feel so uncomfortable? 'Hurts like a bitch...'

Was he drinking last night? It wasn't something he often did anymore, the last time he'd been drunk was well over a year ago, so why would he be hungover?

His head was throbbing, he could feel a painful pulsing sensation just above his ear, did he hurt himself?

"Mun-Su? Are you awake?" A concerned voice asked him.

'Mi-Sun? What's she doing here?'

That was when everything came back— Jin-Ok had opened the gate for her daughter, Su-Ung had pushed him down and ran out to help Min-Ju in his place.

"Fuck…" he groaned, prying his heavy eyelids open.

They were back in the daycare, he was lying on a pile of blankets, Mi-Sun sitting beside him, holding one of his hands in hers. His hoodie had been removed and propped under his sore head as a pillow, leaving him in his Falling In Reverse T-shirt. No monsters… but no sign of anyone else.

"How do you feel?" Mi-Sun asked, brushing his hair off his forehead, concerned warm eyes looking down at him.

"I feel like ass…" Mun-Su stated, dragging his hand down his face, blinking his vision into focus.  "Did... Did anyone else... Get hurt?"

Mi-Sun bit her lip, "Other than Min-Ju and... and Su-Ung... no."

Mun-Su let out a breath he hadn't even known he was holding, 'thank god.' "Everyone's okay? It's cool?" He asked.

The blonde girl hesitated before uttering a weak, "Everything's cool..."

A sharp pain shot through his skull as he slowly forced himself to sit up, white spots danced in his vision, she didn't fool him for a second— there was something else. "But?" He urged her to spill.

Sighing, Mi-Sun scratched the back of her arm, something she was prone to do when she felt worried, "It's Eun-Hyuk, he's just… not taking it well."

"Is he okay?" Mun-Su asked, frowning in concern. He knew it was a silly question. Of course he wasn't okay, Mun-Su knew most of the group probably was not okay.

"He looks like he's dissociating," Mi-Sun explained. "He hasn't really spoken since, I'm worried. He went off to the bathroom not long ago."

"What happened after I passed out?" Mun-Su asked.

' Mi-Sun couldn't tear her gaze away from the harrowing, gut-wrenching sight. It was straight from a slasher movie, but no amount of Saw viewings could have prepared her for this. This wasn't an elaborate mystery thriller movie with oddly pink blood in some installments— this was real.
