Standing outside in the hall, Mun-Su bounced impatiently on the balls of his feet.
He was awake— Hyun-Su was awake!
Eun-Hyuk was talking to him, he had asked to go in first, not completely convinced they could trust the teenager. Surprisingly, Eun-Yu had already been in the room with Hyun-Su when they got there, Mun-Su wondered if they knew each other. Eun-Yu had always seemed rather aloof, like her brother, it was nice of her to check on him.
After Eun-Hyuk filled him and Mi-Sun in on his plan, Mun-Su had given him an apology for yelling— He had a short fuse that he sometimes struggled to control, but that was no excuse for yelling at his friend. The relief in his heart after being reassured Hyun-Su wouldn't be thrown to the monsters was enough to make him feel as light as a feather!
Eun-Hyuk walked out into the hall, nodding to Mun-Su that he could enter, "Take him to sit outside the daycare when you're done," he said.
Thankfully, Mun-Su had only been waiting at the door for a couple of minutes, Eun-Hyuk wasn't one for small talk after all. He grinned, "Hell yeah, see you there."
Inside the room, Hyun-Su exhaled a tense breath, releasing some nervous energy. Despite being polite and even asking if he was okay, Eun-Hyuk's stand-offish appearance gave off the impression that he wasn't very fond of the teenager. It set him on edge.
It was barely a full five seconds later when Mun-Su leaned against the door frame, Hyun-Su looked at him but didn't speak, unsure of his intentions. A confused look crossed his face when Mun-Su smiled casually and playfully said— "That was a sick dive earlier, man. Ten out of ten."
"…What?" Hyun-Su uttered hesitantly, he examined Mun-Su closer for a moment— warm eyes and a mop of wavy black hair, his tall, strong frame leaning against the doorframe with his hands in his pockets— then recognition flashed in his shadowed eyes. "You."
"Oh, you remember me?" Mun-Su's eyebrows raised, pleasantly surprised. "I'm Mun-Su, its nice to officially meet you." He didn't extend his hand or bother bowing, he got the feeling it would just stress him out and make things more awkward than they had to be.
"Cha Hyun-Su," the younger man mumbled, it was obvious that he wasn't one for socialising. It was a good thing Mun-Su didn't mind being the one to keep up a conversation, he could talk for days, a skill that came in handy for his chosen career of gaming night and day with an audience.
He cleared his throat, he really wished he didn't have to have this next conversation. Eun-Hyuk had requested he and Mi-Sun keep the fact that the vote was rigged to themselves— to avoid any unneeded complications. Mun-Su hadn't been overly thrilled but eventually agreed to his request, it had taken a little more convincing to get Mi-Sun to agree. "Hyun-Su should know, what's the point in putting him through this stress if it's already been decided?" It took a while but Eun-Hyuk and Mun-Su managed to convince her to keep quiet about the plan, she still was not happy about it.
