Yes finally the day I'm leaving this awful place called home. it's not much of a home. but I'm finally leaving getting away. Goodbye New York City, hello California. I'm just boarding my plane now when I find my sear I see there are 2 boys sitting right next to my seat. I sat down awkwardly. One boy had brown hair with a blond strip in his hair and blue eyes. The other boy had a prefect jaw line brown hair and brown eyes
"Hello" the one boy with the jaw line said
"hi" I replied
I was turning off my phone
"I'm Cameron and this is my best friend Nash, what's your name" he said
I looked up at him and Nash waved
"hi I'm brittney" I said
A boy has never ever talked to me before this feels weird I mean could he maybe have alittle crush on me?
"nice to meet you brittney" he said
Cameron was the one closest to me and Nash had the window seat which o kinda wanted but oh well.
The plane then started taking off and me and Cameron got talking.
"So Britney how old are you?" He asked me
He was looking directly at me
"I'm 18 how about you" I said
"same, what brings you to Cali?" Cameron then asked
He then asked
what should I tell him huh?
"I'm um going down here to live for now on" I said
"that's cool where are you gonna be staying?" He asked
"um actually on homeless right now I will be staying on a park bench" I said not ever with a smile
"no your kidding me right?" He said
"nope I'm moving away from life down in the big city and going somewhere I would never expect no family or anything" I replied
"well you can come stay with me and Nash at our parent beach house that we all share my parents aware never there I mean we have a spare bed room."cameron said to me
"is it okay with Nash?" I asked
He asked Nash and he seemed to be cool about it he didn't really care
yeah" he said
"thanks you so much your a life saver I seriously would have been sleeping on a bench if it wasn't for you"
i said
"no problem" Cameron then said
Then we got talking a lot more and more about stuff and next thing we know our plane is landed and we are at baggage claim. I'm finally away from everything the lies the bruises the drugs the drinking everything now I can live life
We got our bags and started heading to Cameron car
I stopped as soon as we hit outside and smelled the nice Cali air
As the boys kept walking
"Britt you coming" Cameron said
I then snapped outta trance and followed them we threw out bags in the car and started driving
"It's like a 50 min drive brittney just letting you know"
Nash said
I didn't really care I'm just happy to be gone from everything in my past.
We got driving them I heard a song come one the radio"
"Omg Cameron this is my song" Nash said like a really really white girl
"Then turn it up girlllll"
Cameron then said the same way Nash did
Of course it was California girls we all sang in the car to it.
"CALIFORNIA GIRL WHERE UNFORGETTABLE DAISY DUKES BIKINI ON TOPS, SUN KISSED SKIN IT WILL MELT YOUR POPSICLE OHHHH WOWOHHHH"
We sang
All the windows where down so people must have thought we where crazy or something. I looked around to see teenagers playing volleyball at party's dancing, everything that I missed out on , then we pulled up to a house that was beautiful. it looked pretty big to and a girl on the porch
Cameron got out the car
"That's Cameron's stuck up girlfriend jessica"
Nash said to me
"You don't like her?"
I then asked Nash
"Let's talk about hate! She so mean to anyone when not around Cameron but he's like in love with her, he hasn't talk to a girl but her"
Then Cameron and Jessica started walking to the car. Cameron opened the trunk. Nash just looked at me
"Hi Nash" she said to Nash
I looked at Nash and he looked at me he covered one side of his mouth so Jessica wouldn't see and mouthed
"Oh my god" I giggled
"Who is this?" Jessica then asked Cameron
"Hi I'm Brittney" I said
Cameron and Nash both laugh then Cameron gets the bags out the trunk
"Cameron I can get my bags it's fine" I said
Cameron still ended up bringing my bags inside in my new room for a while
"Here is your new room welcome to California space"
Cameron said
He put my bags down on the bed
"Thanks" I said
"Tell me if you need anything okay?"
He then said to me
"Okay" I replied
I started unpacking my things putting things away. oh my god guess what I ahem my own bathroom in my room so I can't take as long as I need in the bathroom now.
I was putting stuff in my new bathroom when I hear Cameron call me down. I went down the steps and saw him Nash and Jessica standing there with shoes on
"You coming with us grab a bite?" Cameron then asked me
"Yeah come on it will be fun" Jessica said
It's like her whole attitude changed around me. I mean I can't blame her for being snotty about some random girl her boyfriend brought home but I'm gonna have to deal with it. we all got in the car Jessica was in front with Cameron and I was in the back with Nash them we showed up at a long horn and went inside and got seated
"So brittney how did you and Cameron meet?" Jessica then asked me
"I've know her sense middle school" Cameron then said
He looked at me and winked the waiter then came
"How can I serve you with drinks"
He asked
"I'll have a sweet tea" i said
"Make that 2" Cameron said
"Make that 3" Nash said
"I'll have a water" Jessica said
"I'll be right back I have to use the bathroom" I said
I then got up and started walking to the bathroom and then did my business and walked out and Nash was there
"Brittney, Cameron is actin different around you"
Nash then said
"What do u mean?" I asked
"The way he trays Jessica when there alone he's treats you way better when around people"
He then said
I was confused but we went back to our table and out drinks came we then ordered food and ate and went back to house Jessica then left and we all went to bed.
