Chapter Two: Who are you

AN: Second chapter!!!

May POV-The next morning
'BEEP BEEP BEEP' I jolted awake at the sound of my alarm waking me up. I checked the time and it was already 7:30am. I hurried out of bed because I didn't want to be late on the first day.

I changed into light blue ripped skinny jeans and a red off the shoulder t-shirt. I put my red converse on and dashed down stairs. Misty was cooking pancakes so I set up the table for everyone.

Moments later, Leaf and Dawn walked down the stairs as well. "Dig in!" Misty exclaimed laying the food down on the table. I ate as fast as I could and waited for everyone else to be done.

"I call driving!" I yelled to my sisters. "I call shotgun!" Leaf exclaimed. We grabbed our stuff and headed out to our convertible. I drove us to school and we got out of the car.

"We need to go to the office to grab our schedules" Leaf stated. We were half an hour early so we wandered aimlessly till we reached the office. "How may I help you?" The secretary asked.

"We're here to see Principal Mark" I told her. "Who may you be?" she secretary. "Tell him were his girls from the PPA" Dawn replied. She whispered something into the phone and told us "Go right in"

I opened the door to his office and he gestured for us to sit down. "Good morning girls" He said. We sat down across from his desk and he handed us each a slip of paper. "Here are your schedules and hope you do well" He said.

We were dismissed and we headed out of the office again. My first class was Appeals in room 105 and Dawn was in battles in 106. "Let's go! There's 15minutes till class" I told Dawn.

We walked to our lockers and put our stuff away. I grabbed my red binder and pencil case then waited for Dawn. "Our Classes should be just down the hallway" Dawn told me. We headed down the hall and lots of people crowded the hall.

We walked into room 105 and the teacher greeted me. "Good Morning, I'm Ms. Solidad and welcome" I smiled and replied "Thanks I'm May" She smiled back and told me to wait for everyone to fill the seats.

The bell rang and everyone poured into the classroom. Everyone found their respective seats and looked up at the teacher. No one knew who I was and right when Ms Solidad was about to start.

The door opened one more time and a boy with emerald hair and emerald eyes walked into the class. "Drew you can't keep coming into class later every day! Even if you are doing good in this class!" Ma Solidad stated.

He quickly sat down in the middle of the room and I could see a lot of girls staring at him. Well I found my assignment and he had lots of fan girls by the looks of it.

"Everyone we have a new girl today please be nice and let her introduce herself" Ms Solidad stated. "I'm May Maple and I'm joining the rank Red Rose. I have won 6 ribbon cups from 6 different regions" I announced.

A lot of people's jaws dropped but Drew just smirked at me. "You can sit in the empty seat beside Drew" Ms Solidad told me. I sat in the seat beside my assignment and looked up at the board.

Ms Solidad went on to explain the components of a good appeal and I started to take notes in my notebook. "Who are you?" I looked to my side and Drew was starring at me. "Excuse me?" I asked. "No girl has ever made the Red Rose rank" He replied.

"My best friends and I are extraordinary" I replied and looked back at the teacher. "You won't beat me even with 6ribbon cups under your belt." Drew said. "I'm top coordinator of every region" I shot back.

"Do you even know who I am?" He asked. "In fact yes I do, Andrew" I shot back. He glared at me and replied "Don't ever call me that ever again" He spat. I just laughed at him and paid attention again.

"Tomorrow each of you will perform an appeal for the class" Ms Solidad said. I smiled as the bell rang and I dashed out of the classroom. Then I checked my schedule for my next class which was battling in room 206.

I dashed up the stairs and walked into battling class. "May!" I heard Leaf exclaim. "We're in the same battling class!" I exclaimed. We high-fived and people stared at us weirdly.

"Have you found your assignment yet?" I asked her. "Yup and he's already tried to flirt with me" Leaf replied. I giggled and replied "My assignment is really cocky and arrogant"

We both sat down in the back of the room and waited for class to start. "Do you think we'll be forced to introduce ourselves again" I asked. "I have no idea" Leaf replied. "I'm tired of the same reaction" I stated. Leaf nodded and the teacher entered the classroom.

Moments later the class filled up and the bell was about to ring. Drew and this other guy walked right when the bell rang. "That's my assignment, Gary" Leaf muttered and pointed to the boy with spiky brown hair who walked in with Drew.

"Drew walked in with him" I whispered back to her. The two guys sat in front of us and I groaned. "This is going to be a long period" Leaf muttered.

The period went by with plenty of arguing between Leaf, I and the guys. When the bell rang I leaped up from my seat and ran out of the class with Leaf.

"Let's go find the girls and go for lunch" Leaf told me. "I'm hungry so sure" I replied. We headed to the cafeteria to look for Misty and Dawn. Sure enough they were siting at a small table near the glass windows.

"Has everyone found their assignment yet?" I asked. "Paul is like an ice cube" Dawn muttered. "Ash is a great friend!" Misty exclaimed. "Gary is an egotistical jerk and a player" Leaf muttered. "Drew is arrogant and annoying" I said.

"Misty seems like the only one happy with her assignment" Leaf stated. "This is going to be a long mission" I muttered. Dawn agreed with me and I put my face in my hands.

"Tired June?" My head snapped up and I screamed "SHUT UP ANDREW!!!"
