Taehyun greeted the golden couple and proceeded to his classes. As expected, Beomgyu didn't show up nor reply to his messages.

At the end of the class, he spotted Hyejin in the lecture hall. They took the same classes and worked on a few projects together, maybe she would know something.

Though he legit didn't expect the girl in his dream was Hyejin since she had long hair while his unknown lover had a short curly bob, he desperately needed to collect hints from other people.

Taehyun approached her and she looked like she had seen a ghost. Her face turned pale and walked backwards while whispering 'I'm sorry...I'm sorry...My brother...I-I didn't know he would-', in panic she dropped all her books on the floor.

Taehyun helped her collect the scattered books but she quickly snatched all of them and ran away as if she was chased by a monster, leaving a confused Taehyun there.

His head was full of queries already as he moved on to the canteen, to meet his besties and hoped for solutions.  

'Is Beomgyu hyung alright?' As soon as they placed their food trays, Taehyun asked the trio.

As usual Beomgyu wasn't here with them, was it his own fault?

Taehyun thought.

'Yeh thanks to you, he'd better be alright.' Sipping on his coffee, Hueningkai rarely mouthed a resentment which earned an elbow from Soobin.

'I really don't understand, have I done anything wrong? Something like spending time with my girlfriend and neglected him?'

Yeonjun clenched his jaws, knuckles of his fists turned white, digging his nails, almost caused bruises to his palms.

They knew Taehyun was smart and persistent so he might soon find out the truth.

Soobin held the older's hand under the table, Yeonjun felt a little bit more relaxed though he was trying hard to hold back himself.

They probably forgot the tickling bomb next to them.

'KANG TAEHYUN YOUR F*KING AS*HOLE!!' Suddenly Hueningkai shrieked and stood on his feet, giving Taehyun a harsh punch on his face. Students in the canteen were disturbed by the clashes and turned to the group.

'You don't know how much he loves you!' Like he didn't care about the gazes, Hueningkai was  beating up the other.

Everyone was shocked at the sight as Hueningkai was such an innocent and lovely person in their eyes, they had never seen him raging like this nor applying violence towards his friends.

Huningkai was really really mad. Beomgyu was like a maknae to the group, only in front of Hueningkai could he be a caring hyung, and of course all of them had noticed Beomgyu was very into Taehyun. They were happy to see them finally got together. Beomgyu was always smiley when he was with Taehyun. He poured everything for him while Taehyun had forgotten everything, not giving a f*k to it. Hueningkai couldn't stand it further.

He was also mad at himself being useless in this situation.

'KAI STOP!' Soobin and Yeonjun were scared to death, they pulled out their maknae from the blonde and saw Taehyun's cheek swelling from the hits.

'Are you the only one suffering? Why don't you tell me what happened then?' Taehyun questioned the younger with great discontent, wiping off the blood stain at the corner of his mouth.

'BECAUSE WE CAN'T!' Hueningkai retorted with eyesight blurring as tears trickling through his lashes.

To prevent the growing chaos, the hyungs situated themselves between the two. They decided to continue their conservation at Taehyun's dorm.

@Taehyun's room

'Taehyunie, I am sorry...I really miss those days when five of us goofed around together and maybe sometimes, teasing you two...I don't think we can keep those secrets anymore...' After a while, Hueningkai calmed down and apologized, head facing down, guilt filling up his heart, not dare to look at the lumps on Taehyun's face created by his impulsion, which were now carefully treated by Yeonjun and Soobin.

And so the three explained to Taehyun from the beginning, the sacrifices Beomgyu made for him and why Taehyun was losing those memories.

Of course it was hard to believe in magic and stuff so Hueningkai showed him some group photos in the past, like those selcas they took at Halloween festival. Taehyun was astonished by the images of Beomgyu suited in those dresses and the two of them looked very intimate.

Hueningkai passed him the phone so Taehyun could check the pictures one by one in details. He was having a headache for the excessive amount of information that would need time to digest. He was shocked at first but gradually accepted it as everything started making sense to him-

So the girl in my dream was Beomgyu...

That's why in the hospital he asked me about the bracelet...

So as the roses and cleats...

And now I understand why he is avoiding me...

Dating his brother wasn't something he would have considered in the past since their interactions were all platonic. He dating Choi Beomgyu? That gorgeous, caring boy, huh? Pretty hard to believe. On the other hand, he was surprised that part of him found it natural, his heart was thumping a bit faster towards the fact that they had been in a closer relationship.

It was evidently repentant he couldn't recall those memories and instead he needed somebody to help him out.

Soobin stopped patting the ointment on Taehyun's face as sentiments swam him causing regretful tears to stream down to his cheeks, he swabbed them with both hands.

'I was there but I couldn't do anything for him...' Soobin sobbed quietly referring to the night he witnessed Beomgyu made another wish to save Taehyun's life.

'I am sorry. I have no idea you guys are struggling...' The shorter gave the giant bunny a hug.

'Y-you don't need to apologize...i-it's no one's fault...we just hope...b-both of you are h-happy!' Soobin stuttered between the weeps.

'T-Thank you, I am so glad to have you guys by my side. I can't ruin our relationship...I'll talk to him.' Taehyun told them for he had made up his mind- not going to let Beomgyu face this on his own.

The next day was a Saturday, all of them had no class so Taehyun knocked on Beomgyu's door and no one answered again.

He left the dorm, wondering if he should go to places that might elicit some of his lost memories. As he passed through the gate, he saw Beomgyu one street ahead him. He decided to follow the older from the back.
