AN
I am so, so, so, so sorry I took so long. I have been having trouble thinking of what to write for this chapter and we started back half in person school last week.
I should be able to write more for the next week (hurray spring break).
Some of you might have also noticed that I started another book (on AO3) unconnected to this one. I seriously wasn't planning on doing any other books while I was doing Enderhermit but, here we are but I will try to update both as much as possible.
End AN
Grian lays on the endstone ground looking out slightly into the void. His entire body is in pain but slowly becomes numb starting from the tips of his fingers and feet. His ears start to feel like they are full of cotton while his vision blackens from the edges. He can faintly make out the expanding pool of his blood. He faintly hears a scream before he closes his eyes.

Grian shoots up in his sleeping bag breathing heavily.

Looking around the room, he notices Ren is still asleep laying half out of his sleeping bag on the ground while Etho and Impulse are sitting at the meeting table. Etho is eating a few golden carrots while Impulse drinks a cup of redstone cocoa. A drink that Zedaph made in the fifth world made from cocoa beans and redstone. Zedaph quickly became banned from drinking it not before he introduced it to other members and got them drinking it.

"... I'm just saying that drinking or eating redstone isn't good for you. There's a reason I wear a mask so I don't accidentally breathe redstone dust," Etho said before taking another bite out of his carrot.

"I just drink it to give me a bit of energy. Though you can hardly call me bad. Just look at Tango. His eyes aren't naturally red and glowing. It's just a reaction he has with it. He mostly eats redstone so his eyes glow."

"That… doesn't sound good."

"Trust me when I say Mumbo's worst." Grian joins the conversation while taking a seat. "He practically breathes the stuff, not counting the times he falls asleep, mouth open in it. He often creates a redstone current after being around redstone for too long. Iskall is the exact opposite. His robotic eye does not do well with redstone so he avoids accidentally eating it."

"Doc was the same way," Ren commented as he sat up in his sleeping bag. He made his way over to the table to join the others. "His reaction is much worse than Iskall's with a robotic arm added onto the eye. Not mentioning the fact that he's a creeper hybrid so eating redstone just makes him angry and 'explosive.'"

"Ya, all the times Scar thought it would be funny to put a bit of redstone dust on his golden carrots causing Doc to get mad at anyone he sees while his arm and eye glitch. Iskall would have to come and fix his electronics while we wait for the redstone to get out of his system." Grian added, causing everyone to laugh.

"I don't think you have any room to talk about bad effects with redstone. You got banned from it for the same reason why Zedaph did and don't think you didn't do crazy things because of it. If I'm remembering correctly from Mumbo, half the time you were Poultry Man was after you had a bit of redstone."

"I have no idea what you are talking about. Anyway, it was the man in the chicken costume, not me."

"Grian, you are the 'man in the chicken costume'." Impulse laughed.

"So, do you guys do these 'campouts' often?" Etho asks while setting down his golden carrots. The room got slightly tense, Grian knew this would have come up eventually.

"We did it more last season when the three of us were hippies -don't ask about it- and it kinda became our thing and we usually do it if we notice one of us is having a hard time or needs help and is refusing to get it. Because of everything that happened during that time, we ended up becoming close, sort of like how the resistance is." Impulse explained
