"uhhh," raena began fiddling with her granny fingers from washing dishes earlier that day. "well—"

"—eating my hair, it seems." yoongi finished for her, with a groan. with a disgusted look, he rose from the ground and dusted himself off. drool threatened to fall down the bridge of his nose. he quickly wiped it with the back of his pale hand.

raena's eyes widened at his response and looked back at seokjin to see his reaction.

"excuse me?" he asked, baffled. he gave a suspicious look to yoongi who only returned it.

"he's kidding!" raena chuckled nervously. she crossed her arms around her chest as if protecting her from the awkward situation.

"so if you weren't eating his hair then what were you doing? making out with him after destroying restaurant property?" seokjin asked with a titled head. he gestured to the roller skates wrapped with grass.

yoongi's eyes widened the same time raena's did and immediately began to protest. ew just ew.

"okay that took an unnecessary turn, gosh, we weren't making out—"

"—don't defend her," seokjin interrupted. "clearly she cares more about playing around with her boyfriend than about restaurant property. how the hell do you expect to pay for those expensive roller skates, raena?"

at the mention of her name, raena's heart skipped a beat. she couldn't pay for this right away. she needed some money for her plan to get jeongguk back on his feet. she quickly decided she would just take more shifts and have them take the cost out of their paycheck.

but first she wanted to make it clear she was single and ready to mingle, "h-he's not my boyfriend—"

"—answer the question," her boss said sternly, shifting the weight of his body to his right leg. his tone bothered yoongi.

"i'll pick up more shift at the restaurant," raena offered with hopeful eyes. "and pay with my paycheck instead?"

seokjin scoffed, "just so you can break more plates and distract customers?"

"i won't do anything i promise!i'll be quiet. i'll clean the entire restaurant at night. for free to pay for the inconvenience i caused you and  a couple days of over time it should be enough for the roller skates, right?" raena pleaded, but she knew they were not just roller skates. they were expensive considering they lasted her almost a year and a half in that restaurant and can withstand almost all floor materials. she was going to have to work really hard at the restaurant not to get paid. this is really setting her back on an idea she was planning for her brother.

she looked into seokjin's beautiful eyes in hope of seeing eye to eye. literally.

the man sighed. he gave her a stern look, "if i see you running around with your boyfriend in restaurant property again from the window you'll pay double the cost."

yoongi snorted whilst wiping the drool from his hair.

seokjin whipped his head towards him, "what? do you have a problem with that."

yoongi crosses his arms, "yes i do. you sound pretty petty to ask double for roller skates you can get cheap somewhere else. why are you so mad? you're not paying for them, she is. and i'm not her boyfriend. it sounds to me like you have a problem if i was. get that checked out will you?" he rolled his eyes.

seokjin scoffed. he didn't seem like he had anything to say which only lifted yoongi's mood. seokjin turned his attention back to a chuckling raena.

"i want you at the restaurant tuesday afternoon until night."

raena stopped mid chuckle and nodded. it's a date.
