"all done!" raena exclaims, closing out the app for melon scooters, the app where you can rent a scooter. she had owed yoongi for the movie and practically everything else that night. "so we can get these scooters, they charge us by the minute so let's have fun!"

yoongi found his eyes lingering at raena's face longer than he expected and quickly brushed it off. he stepped onto the scooter with a frown. he really did not want to embarrass himself. there was something he hadn't told raena...he's never ridden a scooter before.

he's never had too! he was comfortable with the bus. it did all the work, gave him time to think.

it shouldn't be too complicated, correct?

raena had already been a couple feet ahead of him by the time yoongi came out of his thoughts. she was looking back at him with a frown.

"dude you're slow," she playfully complained.

he scoffed and placed his other foot on the scooter trying to balance. he presses the handle on the button. after a small stride, he stopped himself feeling as though the ground would swallow him from below. he cursed under his breathe surprised at how much his heart was beating. he looked up to see if raena was looking but she had switched her attention to her phone. a small smile on her face.

"thank God," he whispered, though curious about what was taking her attention away. hoping she wouldn't look up again, he placed his foot back into the scooter and balanced himself.

he tried again with the button until he reached up to her. feeling better about his ability (though having 30 seconds of experience), he piped up, startling her with his presence.

have some confidence yoongi, you definitely beat her at karaoke and you're a cool guy. it's just as easy as producing a song.

"catch up, 'dude'," he says attempting to imitate her and with a tiny smirk that made raena's eyes widen with amusement, he zoomed off with a new found confidence.

"yoongles!" raena laughs behinds him, fixing her position and zooming off after him into the night. the sound of the electric scooters paired with the sounds of night was music to their ears.

raena couldn't stop thinking about the text sunghoon had sent her once she finally read it. he had sent it while they were speaking at the gym and it made her very curious to race to the restaurant and get it. despite the bump on her head, it was worth it. she hadn't quite figure out a response but how is one supposed to answer to something raena had honestly hadn't heard since 1st grade.

the text had read: 'hey future raena, it's sunghoon :) just wanted to say it was nice talking to you. you're very cute.'

it was the most simplest of messages and compliments and even though raena considered herself to be adorable, hearing it from him was different. a guy? a handsome guy like him? telling her that she's cute? very cute?

never has she been approached by a guy with such a confidence and stride and humor as sunghoon. their conversation lasted nothing more than 2 minutes but she could tell she wanted to speak more to him and him to her just to discover a little more what was below the surface. maybe their little interaction could become something more. sure, her emotions and imagination were leading her but it didn't mean there was nothing there.

there was a giddiness in her to discover what could be that was inexplicable but not unnoticed by yoongi who noticed the girl distracted in thought while the two rode their electric scooters in silence.
