chapter : fourteen

the sudden harsh poke on yoongi and raena's tangled arms caused them to wake to a start at the same time. they bumped their heads together. raena bit her lip in pain as yoongi let out an annoyed ow.

the bus driver in front of them crossed his arms and gave them both a pointed look.

"we've reached the last stop. you have to get out now."

yoongi rubbed his head, face scrunched in confusion. it took him a second to remember where he was and what he was doing.

"oh crap" yoongi muttered. with swift movements, he snatched the earbuds off his ears and shoved them and his phone in his hoodie pocket. "i missed my stop again."

raena pouted her lips and looked outside at where they were. multiple similar looking buses were parked at the last stop. she felt as if hours have passed by but it had only been about 40 minutes.

she was late as well. but before she or yoongi could rush off of the bus she turned to him.

"did you fall asleep too?" she asked with wide eyes.

yoongi stopped in his tracks and opened his mouth to speak. no words came out.

the bus driver raised a brow at the two of them and sighed before mumbling a hurry up and went back to sit down on his seat

"you totally did!" raena exclaimed, looking at his reaction. "oh my gosh! we feel asleep on each other, how cute~." she felt herself giddy inside and almost reached out to hug him.

yoongi shook his head at the ridiculously giddy look on her face. her bunny smile looked so familiar but it could not place where he's seen it before.

"i'm not buying you a shirt or anything, so relax," he replied, putting his hands up in surrender.

raena scoffed, "i KNOW i'm just saying that i fell asleep on you before when we met. then you fell asleep on me and then i took a picture of you and now we fell asleep on each other. it's progress!" she raised her hands in the air dramatically, nearly slapping yoongi in the face.

he winced, jerking his head away from her deadly arms. he thought raena was done talking so he could hurry to his job but her sudden gasp made him almost jump out of his skin.

she fished out her phone from her pocket and raised her arm before her and yoongi to take a selfie.

"let's take a selfie!"

"no." her smile died down.

"why?"

"i don't like pictures." he frowned.

"liar, i saw your selfies from 2013 from your instagram that tae tae sent me," raena stick her tongue out at him and turned back to her phone, quickly snapping a pic of the two of them and pushed past yoongi.

a horrified gasp escaped his lips.

"you—"

"BYE FRIEND."

The go-go restaurant was PACKED this afternoon for their supper specials. everyone loved seokjin's supper specials in which he had every two weeks. plus it was a tuesday so kids ate free.

raena was skating her way to and fro between tables, taking people's orders, bringing people food until it was closing time and she would have to clean everything because of her quarrel with the handsome boss the other day. she was the only one there after closing time besides seokjin who was in his office. she didn't even know if that was legal or not but she wasn't going to argue, she offered this.
