It was a quiet Autumn day in the apartment until...
"Babe, give me back my controller!"
Jaemin let out a huff when he heard the yelling and made his way to the source of the noise. He walked to the third bedroom down the hall to see one of his boyfriends, Yangyang, trying to grab the game controller that his other boyfriend, Donghyuck, was trying to keep out of reach.
Jaemin let out another sigh before putting on his stern voice, "if you two don't stop, I am going to put you in time out."
They both looked at Jaemin in surprise but Donghyuck was the first one to speak, "what are we, five? I would like to see you try to put me into time out."
Donghyuck put down the controller in the process and gave Jaemin a challenging look. Jaemin only raised his eyebrow at the challenge before saying in a calm but menacing voice, "I won't but when I have to wake Jeno up, I think he might have another opinion on the matter."
Donghyucks face fell from its cocky look, to one of horror, "you wouldn't dare."
"Oh, but would I," Jaemin said as he turned around and made his way further down the hallway. He could hear Donghyuck feet shuffle behind him and then a pair of tan arms and wrapped around his waist.
Donghyuck was going to drag Jaemin back into the room but becomes even more panicked than before when Jaemin lets out a yell. Donghyuck tries his best to get the pink-haired male to stay quiet with Yangyang but all fails when he sees the door at the end of the hallway open slowly.
They all freeze in their place as they watch a grumpy-looking Jeno walk out of his bedroom and slowly make his way down the hallway in just his sweat pants. No one dares to move hoping that if they just stay still, the other will just not notice them.
But they knew they were screwed when Jeno stops right in front of them. He says nothing for about a minute and the hallway is silent. That is until Donghyuck broke it with a question.
"How was your nap?" He asks as he tries to get a smile onto his face. Jeno lets out a puff of air before bending down quickly and throwing Donghyuck over his shoulder. The other two run away as they hear loud squeals in the background.
Yangyang immediately takes cover behind the curtains while Jaemin searches for a place frantically but can't think of anywhere good off the top of his head. His time was soon cut off as Jeno is back and Jaemin just takes his fate as he is taken over the others' shoulders.
Yangyang can hear Jaemin let out yells of laughter that get fainter as he is brought away. Yangyang then hears everything go quiet and holds his breath when he hears padding of feet enter the living room.
He closes his eyes a pray to be left alone but god must have not been on his side because the curtain is thrown aside and he is lifted off the ground in a matter of seconds.
Yangyang lets out loud giggles as he is carried to where ever Jeno was bringing him. He hits the tellers back with his hands and kicks his legs but it's useless as he is carried like he weightless.
He is soon brought into his own bedroom and thrown onto the bed in the middle of a giggling Jaemin and Donghyuck. Jeno looked like he was about to start lecturing them but they are cut off by a phone ringing on the bedside table.
Yangyang recognizes his ringtone as 'Lolli' and rushes to pick up his phone. He reaches over Donghyuck and lays over his lap as he picks up the phone.
"Hey Kun," he says in Chinese after reading the caller ID. "Hey Yangyang, where are you right now," Kun asked from the other line. Yangyang makes a face at the weird question but answers anyway, "I'm at home with my boyfriends, why?"
He can hear a little pause at the other end of the line before Kun speaks again, "I know this is really short notice but I need a favor. I have someone who needs a place to stay temporarily until they can get situated."
"I know this is very sudden and you" Yangyang cuts the other off after he starts to ramble and answers, "of course they can stay here."
Yangyang almost laughs at the relieved sigh that comes out of Kun's mouth. "Thank you so much, can you come to get him tomorrow though," he asked sounding hesitant once again.
Yangyang rolled his eyes at the other's behavior and says, "I will be by tomorrow." He then hung up the phone and turned back to the others who were looking at him questioningly. Yangyang knows he is the only one that speaks Chinese and that they are only able to pick up on a couple of words.
So he starts to explain the call and hopes that they won't get mad at him just offering up their home. They luckily aren't and then continued with their previous antics.
If only they knew that their life was going to change after tomorrow.
