Chapter 69

I woke up the next morning to a knock at the door. Me and techno opened our eyes as the door opened revealing the doctor.

"Good news your test results came back perfect, we've never seen anything like this. It's a miracle that there is no long term damage. It must be that ring you were telling us about"

What ring?

I looked at techno in confusion as he responded to the doctor "okay am I free to go?" The doctor nodded "we just need you to sign a few papers then your free"

I smiled as the doctor walked out "what ring?" I asked techno he held up his hand to show me the matching ring to mine, with the day we met engraved on it.

"They let me keep it on during the surgery because I said the date on it is really important to me" he said. All I could do was hug him.

"That's so sweet" he hugged me back as he grabbed his things and we walked to the front desk.

Techno had to sign a few things before the nurse told us "we recommend you stay with someone full time for two days before you go home" techno nodded as we walked out.

We're free from that hell.

I drove us back to my house opening the door putting technos stuff nicely in my room before walking back out to see him watching tv.

I walked over to him before asking "can I" gesturing to his lap. He nodded. I straddled his lap in a non-sexual manner holding him close burring my head in his neck.

He laughed and put his hand on my lower back. "I'm so happy your okay" he just rubbed my back slowly.

"Do you think I should tell the fans?" He asked. Fuck I never thought of that. "Honestly I don't know, I wouldn't worry them if I were you but if it's something you want to do I 100% support you" I responded.

He just nodded. Next week is technos birthday. I have to make it as special as he made mine. We stayed there cuddling for a few minutes before I spoke up. "So anything planned for next week?"

I could feel him smile. He put his hands inside of my shirt just rubbing my back before he said "nope but I was hoping I could spend it with my girlfriend"

"Oh yeah? Who's your girlfriend?" I asked playing dumb. "Ah you wouldn't know her she goes to a different school"

I just laughed "Ah okay well what is she like?" He smile. "She's amazing, very stubborn but in a good way, she's also so fucking beautiful it's un real."

I just smiled as he continued "oh yeah and her name is Sara" I laughed and smacked his shoulder.

He laughed with me before I spoke up "no but for real what do you want to do for your birthday?"

Still rubbing my back he said "I just want to spend it with you, I don't care what we do. As long as it's just us no one else" he said.

I nodded silently coming up with ideas in my head. I have to make it good. We ended up ordering chipotle for delivery.

We are our food while just chilling before I decided to clean up the house. I played some songs on shuffle before I started with the dishes.

I let go of the dishes dried my hands before turning towards techno hugging him close still swaying to the sound of the music. I had no one to talk to when techno was in the hospital.

Sure there was Wilbur but I felt bad. He was going through the same thing as me. I couldn't help but break down in technos arms.

I hid my face in his chest as I slowly cried he just held my head humming along to the song. When I felt strong enough to look up he looked down and wiped my tears.

He didn't say anything nor did he have to, I felt safe. I managed to spit out a couple words "I was so scared"

He nodded before pulling my chin up to look at him. "I know baby, but I'm here now" I just nodded. I was going to speak but he spoke again. "I wouldn't have left you like that."

"You don't know that" I said honestly. Still hiding my face in his chest he spoke again "One day I'm going to marry you, we'll have a few kids, raise them to be amazing people, then we're going to grow old together okay? I'm not leaving you until that happens understood"

I just nodded crying into his chest. He's the one for me, I'm in love with him. I don't want anyone else but him.

I fell this gravitational pull towards him, like the universe and all the galaxies had a talk and said 'yeah it's time'

I fell in love with someone who loves the way I laugh and would do absolutely anything to hear it. I fell in love with someone who who puts his head on my chest just to hear my heartbeat.

I fell in love with someone who kisses me in public and is proud to show me off to everyone he knows. I fell in love with someone who would never ever want to hurt me.

I fell in love with someone who fell in love with my flaws and thinks I'm perfect just the way I am. I fell in love with someone who I want to wake up next to every day of my life.

I fell in love with him.
