Dancing in the Rain

Chapter 128

I might be being dramatic right now but those simply weren't a good choice of words for techno to use...

As I drove with tears running down my face I couldn't help but think I was being over dramatic... even if I am he should have known those words would hurt my feelings.

I decided to silence my phone since techno was blowing it up. After a couple hours the sun started rising and I finally made it to Punz house, safe and sound... thank god.

Before getting out I checked the texts techno had sent me while I was driving.

I'm sorry, please answer me
Y/n?
Come on it's not that big of a deal
Are you okay?
Baby please answer my calls
Please just tell me you're safe

I chose to ignore the texts along with bunch of missed calls. I slowly got out of my car and went up to the front door, I hesitated but knocked anyways.

It feels weird being here, since the last time I was here... well we don't have to go into that- it just feels like I'm disproving technos trust even though I'm not doing anything with Punz and I sure as hell don't plan on it.

The door slowly creaked open to reveal a freshly awoken Punz. He immediately saw my sad expression paired with the tears running down my face and pulled me into a hug.

The hug was warm and comforting. I hugged him back, digging my face into his shoulder. After a couple of seconds he pulled away and spoke.

"Are you okay?" I shook my head no as he pulled me back into the hug speaking again "come on let's get you inside, you down for a movie? I bought movie night snacks."

I let a little laugh slip as I nodded. We both went inside as Punz went to the kitchen to get the snacks, I followed close behind before he spoke "do you wanna talk about it?"

In all honesty I didn't but I didn't want Punz to be completely clueless so I gave him a quick rundown of what happened, including the getting high and techno not knowing when to shut his mouth. Then I said "and as I was walking out I gave him the ring and told him to give it to that Instagram bitch"

I had completely forgot that me and techno didn't tell any of our friends about the engagement yet... I could see the confusion on Punz face as he spoke "what ring?"

I looked down at my feet as I played with my thumbs before speaking "well you see the thing is... techno proposed" Punz mouth dropped to the floor before he got all excited and spoke "holy shit really?!?! When? Why didn't you tell me?"

I laughed before speaking "it only happened a few days ago, the only people that know are technos family and the people that were there for the engagement oh and momza and dadza" Punz laughed at the names before nodding.

"Can I come to the wedding? I look great in a suit" my smile immediately dropped as I spoke "Uh well I don't really know what's going on with that right now... I mean it was just a little fight but I'm kinda shook up about the whole thing y'know" Punz nodded in understanding before literally chucking a bag of popcorn into the microwave and pressing a few buttons.

"You can go find a movie if you want" Punz spoke. I nodded and walked off to the living room, I ended up finding some drama that just came out on Netflix and getting it set up as Punz walked over with a bag of popcorn and some jolly ranchers.

He put a handful of jolly ranchers on the table before opening the bag of popcorn stuffing some in his mouth and speaking before he finished chewing so it came out a little muffled.

"What's this movie about" I quickly gave him an explanation before pressing play, we both ate the snacks and watched the movie before I got really tired, Punz must have noticed my yawning because he looked over at me and pat his lap as he spoke "lay down, you had a long day"
