Being in a relationship with a demon if forbidden everywhere, but hey I'm never did listen to rules anyway. "Enmu..?" I called out half asleep, a pale head peered into the room "[Y/n]," He called out "Do you need something little sheep?" He asked, walking fully into the room, I just held out my arms, motioning I wanted hugs. He smiled and gave me a hug "Did you put me to sleep again Enmu?" I asked, he let out a chuckle "You always figure me out." He stated, letting go and standing up "I have to go for a bit, I'll be back okay?" He asked, kissing my forehead.
I woke up fully, and looked around the house, it was a mess, but also clean. I sighed and started cleaning up. A few hours later and I looked in the fridge, Enmu doesn't eat human food, he says it has no nutrition for him, so the last time I went shopping was quite a while back. Grabbing my money pouch, I went out the door to buy food. While I was at the fruits stall, I felt someone loom over me, I turned my head around and saw it was [B/n], me and him have been friends since we were kids, but we gradually lost touch "[B/n]! It's been so long! How've you been?" I asked him, and we walked catching up.
"Aah.. you're still like a little sister to me y'know that [Y/n]?" He asked smiling, I laughed "And you're still my older brother [B/n]!" I exclaimed "So how are you in terms of love?" I smiled remembering Enmu's face "I actually have a boyfriend." he looked at me surprised and then it quickly changed to joy, and then protectiveness "He's not sketchy is he? He doesn't hurt you right?" I shook my head "Nope! He's the sweetest, he always comes to my rescue, and he's even taken care of me while I was sick!" I smiled "Okay then.. What's his name then?" I freaked, he doesn't have a last name, so I came up with something at the top of my head "Tamio Enmu." I answered, luckily not stuttering "Can I meet him then?" I felt my body go cold "He's actually a demon-" "He's a demon?!" I shook my head "You cut me off! He's a demon slayer.. so he's not always around." he smiled brighter "I'm so glad you chose someone capable of caring for you, well I've got to go, it was wonderful to see you again [Y/n]!" He said, walking and waving bye to me.
I realized it was dark out so I started making my way back to me and Enmu's shared house, but soon felt a looming presence behind me "[B/n] I thought you were going-" as soon as I turned around, a man put his hand over my mouth "Now you're going to stay quiet unless you want to see your life flash before-" "Now now, I don't think that's anyway to treat a lady." I heard an all to familiar voice 'Enmu! help me!' I screamed internally "And who the f*ck are you to tell me-" He put his hand in front of the man, and a mouth formed on it, "Sleep" it kept on repeating the phrase, until the man let go of my mouth, and collapsed unconscious "Look away little sheep." I did as he told me to and covered my ears, I knew he was going to eat the man, I just never liked listening to the sound of flesh ripping. I felt two cold hands grab my wrists, that was his way of telling me he was finished eating, I turned around and cried into his chest "There there little sheep, no one will ever harm you again." He said kissing my forehead. After I'd calmed down a little bit, he grabbed most of the groceries and started walking back home, me following right behind him, carrying the lighter bags.
When we reached home, I went and laid on the futons we had, soon after Enmu came into the room and sat down beside my head. I lifted my head and put it on his lap, looking up at him, as he ran his fingers through my hair "Little sheep?" he asked I answered with a hum "Who was that boy you were with earlier in the day..?" He asked, his usual soft and gentle tone, strict and serious, "Who? [B/n]?" I looked up to see his reaction, he was looking out the porch and scoffed at his name "He's been with me since we were little, I grew up thinking he was my older brother." I explained, His furrowed brows relaxed a bit "Enmu.." I called out to him, he seemed to be lost in his own mind, until he blinked and looked down at me "Yes little sheep?" I smiled at him "Are you jealous?" I asked, his cheeks turned to a shade of pink "What ever gave you that idea little sheep?" He asked looking away from me "Your face is pink!" I laughed. He sighed "I guess I was jealous.."
I grabbed his arm and forced him to lay beside me "You never need to be jealous, why would I ever leave you?" He looked at me, wide eyed, and then smiled wrapping his arms around my, I'll admit, even though his body was cold, and never radiated heat, I always felt warm in his arms, I felt my eye lids growing heavy, and soon enough I fell asleep.
