You looked around your dark room, no wait this wasn't your room at all, this was Rui's room, you sat up straight trying to remember what happened last, before you woke up. Recalling the events that happened yesterday you sigh, looking around the room for Rui, unable to find him, you stand up, looking around for him, you finally find him, sitting outside in the cold snow. Grabbing a blanket, you sit beside him, dropping the blanket over both of you. "[Y/n]?" His confused voice called out to you, a simple 'hm?' Escaped your throat "I...I don't want to stay like this, I could hurt you.." he said, his voice breaking, as he felt his vision blur. You had never seen him so sad, and he never cried. Wrapping your arms around him, you pulled him closer to you "Rui, it's okay. We can turn you back, calm down. It's okay..." you rubbed circles into his back, and calmed him down. When you pulled away, his eyes were still teary, so you wiped them away and looked him in the eyes "Is that why your out here? All alone?" He nodded looking anywhere but your eyes, letting a small laugh escape your lips as you kissed his forehead "Do you know of anyway to turn back?" Rui looked down "No, huh?" You asked while looking into the distance.

That was a few days ago, the next day you had heard from someone that the only place that has information about demons, is the slayer corps. So when you went home the next few days, you decided to talk with Rui.
