Chapter Nineteen

Celeste Vita

“I can give you a massage,” Reece offered, before cheekily adding, “Some people would even say that I have a magical touch.”

Everyone rolled their eyes as I laughed, shaking my head letting out a ‘no, thanks’.

“Oh, great. He’s on about his magical fingers again,” Dyl groaned.

“Hey, my fingers aren’t the only magical parts of me… if you know what I mean,” he winked at me.

“I will punch you,” Dray seethed, glaring at him.

“Well, I wouldn’t have to offer if you just helped her out,” he reasoned, innocently.

Dray looked at me and raised his brows.

“I don’t need a massage, thank you Dray,” I giggled, answering his unasked question.

My body had been hurting, causing me to groan out in pain every time I moved.

Not only was I on my period, but I had slept in a wrong position all night.

I’m so fucking stupid.

I feel like crying and then taking a snap of myself while doing the peace sign.

Just kidding, mehh I don’t know.

The four bozos had come over after finishing at their job, which was from 9-5.  

Dray had come over with Malia; who told me to call her Mal, because he missed me.

Lee and Ian, came over to ask me to join their ‘Boys night’. I fucking hate them. They decided to cancel it when they saw the others. 

And Lia and Mon came over when they found out everyone else was here.

“I hate you,” a voice yelled from somewhere, before a door was slammed.

*knock, knock*

I was about to say come in when Mon went ahead and opened the door.

“Um, Celeste, I think you should go talk to Ace,” mom mumbled, looking guilty.

Giving her a slight nod, I headed to his room.

I did our secret knock, and a second later the door opened, revealing a crying Ace.

“Come in,” he whispered, locking the door again once I was inside.

I didn’t say anything, just laid down on the bed.

My body really hurts, and the headache that’s always there is not helping at all.

“I hate mom,” Ace stated, making me smile.

I looked at him, and gave him an okay sign, letting out a ‘cool’.

“No, I’m being serious this time,” he grumbled.

“Okay fine, I’ll bite. What did she do this time?” I questioned.

Ace was like me; we didn’t get mad unless for an actual reason. If it was our fault, we would instantly apologize but if not… then you better get insurance.

“She embarrassed me,” he blubbered.

“That’s what parent’s do,” I shrugged.

“No, I felt so hurt at the park, Lessie,” he whispered, wiping his tears.

“Park?” I questioned, pulling him to sit next to me.

“I wanted to learn how to skate and Evie said she’d teach me. So, when I was trying to balance on the board… I slipped… mom just laughed at me. I tried again, and fell down, scrapping my knee, mom laughed again, not even helping me up.  I kept trying and then I fell onto mom and her drink spilled on me. She yelled that I should stop trying if I’m just gonna fail every time, then she started saying something about her drink and left me there. I was so scared I thought she left me. And Evie was looking at me sadly while Jimmy said I could live at his house if I wanted. She came back after a few minutes and said we were leaving,” he answered, tears rolling down his cheek.
