Just Another Case...

Tsuna sighed once their guests left the skies alone.

"You ok there?" Taiyo asked, concerned for his ex-mentor.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just, I thought I've spent my live exterminating those vermins. To think that there's more to it" The brunet blurted out.

"huh? What do you mean, Tsuna-san?" Yuni confusedly asked.

"Those crows. They're trying to accomplish the impossible, Immortality. As what Kaito has mentioned, they're looking for Pandora jewel. But that's not all" He scoffed. "I won't be beating around the bush. I was one of their product"

Alarmed, the other three tensed up at the mention.

"You don't mean-!" Eyes rounded, Taiyo gasped in disbelief whilst Tsuna just bitterly nods.

"That maniac was working with The crows. Their contract is tightlipped. Not many knows about it. Well, supposedly no one since I've deep cleaning them, that is" it actually brought shudders on how he said that without even batting an eye.

But nevetherless, both Taiyo and Yuni understand what he implied and being kindhearted she is, the head of Giglio Nero doesn't feel like to push this matter further, Although, on the other hand the blond can tell that his brother is up to something for bringing this conversation to light.

Turning to the Mare ring user, he spared a glance, "Did you see this coming?" 

Byakuran shook his head. "Like I said, in most universe, Tsucchan lived in your shoes. We can fairly said that his case is one and only. This world is the first place I ever heard of 'Sinners' even. There are not many variables that looked similar to our universe as well" he reported.

"Heee.... is that so?" unfazed, the sky Arcobaleno hummed as he bite onto his macaroons. "So we have no lead what so ever, well that's disappointing" 

"Are you really?" Taiyo sweatdropped, "you don't sound exactly like it, though?"

"Oh, my dear brother~" amber eyes flashed as sinister smile plastering his innocent face. "Can't you tell that I'm deeply disappointed for not given the chance to see them squirm again before I Squashed them like rotten grape~?"

"Well, uh, as long you don't overthink it, I guess?" The Vongola don said albeit sheepishly despite he meant his every words.

Through Reborn's harsh training over years he has learnt to be more observant especially towards both of his subject and his enemies. To which thanks to that, he figured out fairly well that his other ex-mentor has the tendency to burden himself with unnecessaries thoughts. Likely due to the painful life the brunet previously had, his smiles used to be so tight if not bitter. Fortunately the said Arcobaleno is getting better at processing his emotions and thoughts but seeing him confessed, or rather slipped what's on his mind that one time he caught a nasty fever, Taiyo realized he still has long to go before he can completely put the younger at ease.

Tsuna rolled his eyes, catching the worried look, "There's no need to treat me like a fragile glass, idiot. Had I been that weak, I wouldn't survive this long"

"I am not treating you like a kid whatsoever, Sens— Tsuna" the blond sighed, "it's only natural for families to worry for each other. And we're family, are we not?"

Untrained eyes might not see how the youngest in the table flinched, but none of them are your everyday Harry and Joe, they noticed easily though of course there's no merit in mentioning it.

"Yeah, I guess?" Tsuna wasn't confident, he himself realized that. Then again, he hasn't fully take in that he has found himself a family. Or well, they found him. One that actually cares for him. Like he once mentioned, it would take him some times, so if anything he was glad that none of them makes it even more awkward than it already is.

"Then~ then! Since we're family, that means I can meet you every day right~?" Breaking the ice, Byakuran cling his arms around the hacker's shoulders, grinning brightly.

"Yeah no" Tsuna flat out rejected him as he pushed the man away from his frame. "You're a mob boss, dumbass. For sure they're supposedly get all busy and whatnot. Even if not, I have no time to always babysit you. I'm not paid enough for it"

"So if I pay you right, you would~?" Oh god, the sparkles.

"No, Absolutely not." Thicked, Tsuna said firmly as he finally punched the man square on the face from getting too close, "And that's also a 'no' for kidnapping ne as well. Didn't you learn anything from that time Arcobaleno almost flatten out Gesso altogether?"

—he was sure as hell to see his elements with glowing red eyes and thick of Killing Intent. Honestly, to see it happens with his own eyes does feel sureal. Although the worse part of that was of course to witness Reborn held a gun seriously for once. He was sure several minds break from the sight alone. Not that he feels any sorry towards any of them. They did kidnapped him after all!

"Nope~!"

Tsuna facepalmed. "What did I even expect from this idiot?" He sighed in exasperation while the other two skies chuckled.

"Don't bother, Tsuna-san. Byakuran-kun is weird like that."

"Heeey~ Yuni-chan! You're supposed to be on my siiiideee" the albino whined with a pout.

"She merely stating a fact, Byakuran. There's nothing for you to fret about~ even I have given up on you" Taiyo teased as well.

"You little—!"

And that triggers another whine followed suit with more lighthearted chitter-chatter amongst themselves. Thankfully this time the mood is lighter than before that even Tsuna found himself genuinely enjoying their time.

'I guess it's not bad to idly around once in a while...' he thought though he knows for a fact that it wouldn't be possible without his family around.

Relieved with what he has now, he smiled, 'it sure is amazing to have a home'
