Just Another Case...

It was amusing really, from every possibility that could happen I never thought that KID will be one of the suspects... or at least I have suspicion towards this Kuroba-guy for many reasons. Which I'll save it for later.

Moving on, the three newcomers who said were acquaintances of Alex-san, there's something off from them. I don't know what reason, but they seemed like nothing their appearance told the others. Or at least I could tell that those are not just ordinary kids.

If anything, I would say they were same as me and Haibara. But that's just impossible, right? I mean, there's no way those crows would make more mistakes than they already had and do nothing about it. 

Also, Haibara doesn't react whatsoever towards their arrival, so for now, I can safely assume that they're not part of them and just focus on the case at hand...

But speaking of the case, Megure-keibu is currently questioning the suspects for their alibis. 

"Well, then, we've heard from Kuroba-san and Nakamori-chan... now, shall we continue with you, Takanobu-san?" he asked while the young man scoffed.

"Fine then..." -He said, letting us know just how irritated he is. "Firstly, about my connection with Aya-chan. Like I've said earlier, I'm her boyfriend. I first met her when she was a freshman, and we just hooked up rawly two months ago."  He paused for a second before then continue...

"-Yesterday, Aya-chan asked me for outing all of the sudden. Which, it's kinda odd of her. But, she was the shiest person I ever known, and I've prepared for the worst the moment we stepped into this relationship. You can say that I was ecstastic when she finally takes an initiation.

 However, it turns out, my beautiful dream cometrue was... how to say it. Oh yeah! ruined. Now thank you to the arrival of a certain Baka..." He trailed, glancing at Aida with slight irritation which caused the said young woman to snarled.

"Well excuse me for ruining your so perfect date. But my BESTFRIEND asked me to come with her today... Just for you know, she had enough with all of your flirting with the others. I bet the reason why she called me here is just in case you'll do something once she dumped you..." 

"NANI?!" Takanobu barked while Aida-san had her eyes narrowed with hands on her hips. It's almost like she hadn't bawling her tears out just a moment ago. 

"Ano... Takanobu-san, Aida-san... If you don't mind. Could we concetrate back to the case?" Takagi-keiji asked. Which luckily, they listened him.

"You two didn't seem to get along with each other, should we know the reason?" Sato-keiji asked calmly despite of the way she narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

"Heh, nothing particular. I just hate her guts..." Takanobu said fingers tapping on his crossed arms.

"Ha! at least I'm not a pervert who tricked other people to do my project..." -and that triggered another bicker between the two. Until Megure-keibu must raised his voice to get the two's attention.

"Enough!! Takanobu-san, Aida-san... We have no time for this. For Takano-san's sake, please cooperate with us properly..." he scolded as well sending them a warning look, which the two notice and soon grumbled over it. Well, Takanobu to grumble while Aida to looked away with a rather red face.

'I wonder, if that was out of embarassment...' I hummed, still silently assessing their body language while listening carefully for their next words.

"So, you were saying that the only reason why you're here was because you were invited by the victim?"

"Yes..." The said two replied in sync, sparing a glare afterwards, but no longer bickering like before.
