Just Another Case...

Heist Card

It was only two days after their meetings with Tsuna and co, that Kaitou KID, sends a notification to the Police taskforce, as well a private invitation to his dearest critics... Who else, if not Edogawa Conan?

Then again, the boy himself was delighted to receive it. Well, it's not like he'll ever going to admit it, but KID's heists are one of the things that truly excite him. That thief never seizes to amaze him with his tricks.

Conan loved the riddles too because they make him use his brain more, unlike other riddles. Again, he would never admit that, especially to that certain moonlight thief.

But anyhow, since he never gets the chance to properly read the said 'invitation card' ever since he founds it,  right now he's reading it while in the middle of math class. 

Well... being a genius even among people at his real ages, kiddies classes were never amused him anyway. And what's more, he has finished his assignment so he can put all of his attention to it...

Translation :

as the halloween countdown started and while a Jack Russel Terrier sung to praise tsukiyomi-no-mikoto, an invisible phantom danced all gracefully as he took the star from the depth of ocean.

Can the noble shinigami stop him this time?

'That jerk...!' Conan thought, ticked off at the insult. 

Not just that thief called him Shinigami, he also mocked him with that last question.

'I'll definitely make you pay for this, KID. Just wait and pray for your dodging reflexes will save you this time...' he thought darkly as the whole class felt their surrounding dropped a few degrees while some even shivered, no thanks to the major Killing Intent that he leaked.

Haibara who noticed who's the culprit behind the tension saw Cona's face and the thing he secretively stared before then she rolled her eyes as she thought, 'Boys...'   -then she puts her pencil down as she also finished her assignment.

-Meanwhile, inside that certain class, 2-B of Ekoda high...

That pranksters suddenly feel chills running down his spine as he stunned for a second before then he looked around in alarm as he searches for what might be the cause... 

Aoko who saw her childhood friend like this decided to ask in a whisper, "Is there something wrong, Kaito?"

"Huh? ah, no... it's just..." Kaito murmured, but then shrugged as he found nothing truly worrisome. "Meh, forget it. Maybe I'm just being paranoid..." He said casually.

"That, or someone was indeed targeting you. I mean, with all of your pranks, no wonder if someone actually hates you..." Aoko taunted with a smug look while Kaito raised his eyebrow in amusement.

"Like that's even possible... afterall, compared to my pranks, no one can resist the wonder my magic brought~" He said, then with a flick of fingers, one by one, leaves in different shapes and colour beautifully fall from the ceiling. 

Not yet satisfied, Kaito flicked his fingers again as smoke covered the whole room. Then, as soon it disappeared, different types of Halloween decoration already appeared at the walls and the corners, causing the students to awed at how beautiful their class now though the leaves are a bit annoying.

"How pretty~!" The classmates commented and Kaito grinned in victory at the pouting Aoko.

"See? no one can defy my charm~" he sang, but Aoko is persistent, "You're dirtying the floor..." she said. Then again, just snickered.

"I might have. Then again, I know that you loved this scene. Don't you dare to deny it~" he wiggled his eyebrows as she huffed.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, Bakaito..." Aoko said in annoy. Even so, she cannot hide a smile as she's also mesmerized at the beautiful sight. Kaito smiled also...

Well, all in all, there's nothing else much eventful for the rest of the day...

Royal-chan is back again with another challenge!
