Kaito POV

It was a nice day, really...

Everything started greatly. Both me and my childhood friend, Aoko, agreed to go all the way to Tokyo because Jii-chan won two tickets to go to the Tropical land which lasted within this month, which he then gave it to us saying that we might need refreshing after all of those exams.

I had promised her Aoko to take her on the weekend (which is today) and now she couldn't even stop bouncing around like an excited kid. The sight was rather cute I have to admit.

Well, at least we had some fun. Before then... here we stand, in front of police officers, being suspected as the murderer just because I gave a rose to the victim...

-Glaring at that stupid traitor, I grumbled, "Smooth move, Ahoko! Now you got me tangled with this...!"

Ahoko glared as she then replied with a whisper, "You know that keiji will track you down, Bakaito! it's better this way. And besides, we're here for justice!" -and that answer was so typical of her. I really want to facepalm right here and now. 'why am I still surprised?'

I was about to snark back. saying something along the line, 'we'll only make things even complicated, instead!' But before I did I snapped my head upon hearing someone miscalled us with names that I just know far too well...

"...Ran- oneechan and... Shinichi...-oniichan...?" I blinked at the little girl, If I remember it well, her name was Yoshida Ayumi. One of those kids, Tantei-dan.

In realization, I glanced to search for him. Because if Tantei-dan is here, then he'll likely somewhere near. That boy was their leader after all!

-And just as I feared, he's here...

'Tantei-kun...'

Our gaze clashed, and I saw him raised a brow. Thank Kami, for I've trained my poker face to hide my own shock and amusement.

'well, since he's here, this case won't lasted long then... might as well cleared up this misunderstanding'

And so, taking out a blue rose, I gave the flower to her as I grinned.

"Sorry, Ojou-chan, but it seemed like you've mistaken us with someone else, my name is Kuroba Kaito a magician extraordinare~! and this is Ahoko" I said, pointing at the stupid girl next to me. her face shown anger at the mention, but I guess I'm lucky enough that she only punch me on the arm than suddenly summoning her mop like she always... (seriously, where did she hid that thing?)

Coughing twice, I saw Ahoko slipped into that 'lovely and friendly' image of her, "Now, don't you listen to him, shojo-chan. Insulting people is no good." she said while sending a cold glare at my direction before then she continue, "My name is Nakamori Aoko, Hajimemashita~!"

"Ah! by any chance, are you Nakamori-kun's daughter?" Megure-keibu asked Aoko who brighten up at the mention.

"Hai! Nakamori Genzo is my father. You know him?" she asked back.

"In a matter of fact, yes. He once my partner after all. But now he's an inspector at Division Two..." He replied, "Anyway, sorry to interrupt your day, but is it true that Kuroba-kun here had contact with the victim?"

She nodded, although this time her smile flatter a bit, "Aoko and Kaito meet her when Kaito accidentally bumped on her when I was chasing him over... err, a matter." she glared again, and this time with a furious look while pulling down the rim of her skirt. All the while I just shot her an innocent what-did-I-do? look, while suppressing a grin.

"*ahem*... Well, as I was saying, Kaito bumped on her rather harshly, she got knocked down to the floor. And then as we apologized, Kaito gave her that blue rose before then we parted ways again." she finished.

"Hmm... It seemed like there's not much of interaction then..." Megure-keibu hummed.

"But he's still a suspect, isn't he? I mean, that rose could be poisoned right?" Said that, who I recognized as Takano-san's boyfriend.

At this, Aoko was ready to defend me but Megure-keibu has beat her to it, "Yes, he is... but not the prime one due to the fact that this is their first meeting with her." -that man clicked his tongue in annoy as he gazed away, crossing his arms.

'what a temperamental guy!' I thought before then I added something more to the deduction.

"Well, that and the fact that I didn't just give roses to her. In fact, I've given four similar flowers to others. One to Aoko, one to her, one to this ojou-chan, and the last one is to a kid... So it's impossible to tell which is poisoned if I really was the culprit" I told them, " you can check those flowers if you don't believe me..."

Just then, I heard a child voice right after I finished my words...

"He's telling the truth Keiji-san! this onii-san can't be the culprit. Afterall, someone who takes a very good care of doves and these beautiful flowers must be valued life, right?" -I immediately recognized him. Or at least that messy blob of brunet hair of his... He's the kid that I gave my fourth flower today.

I saw Megure-keibu sighed before then Sato-keiji takes over and kindly asked the child, "Oh really? Then, where's your guardian little boy? are you here all alone?"

He shooked his head, "I came with Tsuki-oneechan and Ren-nii! oh, and you can call me Tsuna, keiji-san! We came to get our lost friend, Alex-san!" Tsuna said all cutely as he pointed at the blond man among the suspects.

Wow... such a small world, right?

But anyway, that Alex-guy, at the arrival of the three, he immediately scattered over and then bowed.

"I-I'm sorry for this, Tsuki-sama, Reborn-sama, Tsuna-sama!" He said. And from the looks of it, it seemed like this guy is working with this woman, probably as a driver from his uniform.

"It's alright Alex... it's not like you did this intentionally, right?" The beautiful woman said, smiling as she gestured Alex-guy to dismiss his action.

two loud coughs could be heard later on from Megure-keibu as he then said n seriousness, "sorry to interrupt your moment... But I'm afraid that we still have a murder to be solved..."

We all nodded, telling him to continue the investigation...

Each of us were questioned, however, it seemed like we don't really need to wait for long. Because from that look on Tantei-kun' face, I know that he's got it.

"Alele~ Isn't this weird?" He started

-and all the while I could only hide my grin as I enjoyed his little showdown...
