Just Another Case...

First meeting?

After debating for a while, we all finally agree to go with groups. And mine was me, Ren-nii, Ki-nee, and lastly Alex-san.

Taking Ren-ni suggestion, we went to Horror and Fantasy Land, where there's this certain attraction that I've been curious about almost my whole life...

Yeah, Well, go on and laugh... But as I said, I have never had a normal childhood, and my life was always filled with Bitter and typical of dangers. And thanks to all of the past events I have nearly nothing normal to seek for entertainment. Therefore I really thankful for my new family to take me here.

Ki-nee even go far to disguise me and Ren-nii into teenagers! (Well, like what I've said, I can no longer use multi-flames more than 5 minutes... so, yeah...)

We had to wait in line for a while but if anything, It was worth it!

The Thrill... Oh Kami, I loved it!

It certainly different than when someone was aiming their gun at your head, or when you were certain that you'll be stabbed in your chest...

It's different...

Because this kind of thrill, it's fun...

And it seemed like my face has developed a new mask... a permanent smiley mask... or so...

I mean, ever since the ride started, I can't stop on grinning! and my heart is beating so fast... too fast that I'm afraid it would fail from being overused...

"Well, it seemed like someone is happy~" Ren-nii teased next to me. Ki-nee has distinguished her flame, and so, now we're on our real form...

I glanced at him as I squeezed my chest even tighter, "That was great..." I confessed, 'I really want to play more of these!'

and it seemed like he could see my thought through me since he's now grinning while ruffling my hair playfully, which I protested while slightly blushing from the affection.

"Maa~ we still have the whole day~ so you can just enjoy the ride, ne~?" he said and I can hear Ki-nee giggled.

"Mou~ but do you really have to ruin my hair, every time? now I have to fix them, again!" I grumped but all he did was smirked.

"Your hair fault for being fluffy and soft to touch. It's almost like they are calling me to touch them... 'come here~' 'come and touch me~'" He said again with a weird voice. I hardly believe that this guy is Reborn...

I mean, The Reborn? the one who was feared and respected in the whole world for his skill as the #1 Hitman, is cooing and being playful towards anyone... now, who would ever believe that?

And it seemed like there's many who thought this as a chance to get blackmail item, I can tell just how many times the guardians and even Ta-nii are eager to take a snap. But somehow, Reborn always noticed and just with one deadly glare, they stopped and just then he returned to be Ren-nii...

It was hilarious...

But anyway... I really need to focus on the matter at hands... I need to stop Ren-nii from tickling me, because seriously! I can't breathe!!

"AHAHAHA... Stop it! Please, Ren-nii! Spare me! I can't... I can't... BWAHAHA!!" -I guess I'm lucky that he stopped not so long then.

'Curse you, Reborn...! and now my stomach hurt from too much laughing' I sent him a cold glare, but that annoying smirk of his just go further in response.

However then, before he let out another snarky comment, Ki-nee saved me just in time, "Now, now, you shouldn't go too far Reborn. Can't you see that he had enough?" she said as she lifted me up in her embrace.

"Come one, I'll carry you to our next stop..." Ki-nee said again, and I stuck my tongue at Ren-nii while he just rolled his eyes, mouthing 'Gaki' before then that playful smirk crept up back to his face...

Moving on... I have this strong feeling that I just missed something...

or was it someone?

"Ne, where's Alex-san?" I blinked, just noticed that our friendly driver isn't anywhere near. 'where did he go?'

"Oh my... it took so long for you to notice, Tsu-kun~ have you gone dull?" Ren-nii teased again and glared.

"I'm not! I'm just sort of distracted, you know? I mean, with all of this excitement and all..." I tried to hide my flaws by ducking my head. I'm lucky that Ren-nii didn't bring it up any longer. There's no need to add salt to my wounded pride... *pout*

"But anyway... I think we need to find Alex now, I mean, he has a bad sense of direction when off from any vehicle" Ki-nee said as she sweatdropped. Well, I did too, to be honest.

That is until Ren-nii suddenly pointed out, "Oi, people are crowding over there..." He said, looking serious all of the sudden.

It was no mystery, however. The dreadful aura that coming from that forming crowd was indeed worrying. And so I suggested that we should go and check...

It didn't take long for me to squeeze into the crowds, where there I found myself blinked in surprise.

From the words exchanges among the people, it seemed like a murder just occurred. And from the way the Keiji-san talked to the few, it seemed like the suspects have been appointed. Which, surprisingly, among those people there are Alex-san and that one magician-oniisan that we met earlier.

If I'm not mistaken, his name was Kuroba Kaito, a teenager that reminds me of a certain magician that I missed... Kuroba Toichi...

Remember when I said that there's not that many who got to entertained me back in my 'previous life'?

Well, Kuroba Toichi was one of those few...

I remember how much I regretted not to come to his last performance because of my works.

I mean, if I did come... then maybe, maybe I could prevent that accident...

Even until this moment, I'd never look up into the case as I holed up into many missions just to forget that my bad luck struck the only person that I found entertaining.

Never again I found anything truly fun afterwards... Until I met my new family, of course...

But anyway, If this Kuroba-guy was indeed related to my former idol, then it's just adding the reason for me to help him... he was after all, truly innocent.

I could tell from his calm aura... one of the advantages of being a hitman for years, I assume.

Although, he's not the only one who caught my eyes here... there's another one...

another kid who stood up the most among these, dare I say, ordinary people.

a kid with glasses... and it seemed like I'm not the only one who got my interest taken, for both Ren-nii and Ki-nee also have their eyes on him...

slightly feeling amused, I later thought.

'Well then... why don't we just see what you can do... Megane-kun...' who ever thought that my heart would go Doki-Doki in excitement over a murder case?
