Just Another Case...

Bloody Party

Standing in front of many crowds was never a problem to that shrunken detective, in fact, he used to crave for attention over his genius deduction. However now, the reason of their cheers was none other than his rival's magnificence magic trick... though, that's not the reason why he want to bury himself in a hole.

He wouldn't mind to be his assistant, really. It's just... the costume that Kaito made him wear is- let's just say, that he really... like, REALLY wants to kick something to the magician's face... preferably, something hard. Like a rock.

If not, he would love to hide under one. Either would work.

Nevetherless...

"That was amazing, Shin-chan! You did great~!" Those indigo pairs lit up as the owner gave his partner a thumbs up. All the meanwhile, the subject of those praises just replied with a cold glare. The curtain has closed by then.

"Now, can you change me back?" Conan said almost hissing over the humiliation. Yet Kaito just chuckled before pulled out his handkerchief once again.

"As you wish, Tantei-kun..." and so, covering the tiny body in a snap of finger the black-circus themed costume changed back into the Sherlock Holmes pieces.

"Aww... I wish that I took a pic before I changed you back-"

"-don't you even think about it" Conan cut him with a rather intense glare, in which Kaito just laugh it off.

Well, that is until claps of hands could be heard from one side. Turning their head they saw Taiyo coming with a huge smile on his face and that woman from the amusement park, Tsuki who's dressed as a queen, walking next to him.

"That was brilliant, you two! Well done!" Tsuki praised as Kaito bowed with a wink and Conan nodded while muttering a faint thank you.

"I'm so glad that my little brother invites you tonight. We, and all of the audiences loved your top notch performance. How did no one ever heard of you before?" Taiyo questioned as the light slowly turned back on.

Yet, before Kaito got the chance to say a word, horrified screams could be heard from the crowds, in which, by instincts, the two immediately ran to see what it was followed by the twins.

Just then, they saw...

There in the middle of the room, a woman who's head leaning on the table with blood could be seen slowly oozing out from the wound on her back...

Another victim has fell, and Conan didn't even sighed like before.

-Taking action, Kaito told everyone to stay back as the little detective examined the young lady.

"Hey! If we shouldn't get closer then why that kid--?!" A man who's seemed to be in his 30 exploded upon seeing the two in action.

But atlas, Kaito immediately yet still politely cut him of, "I'm sorry, sir. But I think it's better for you to stay there if you don't want to be suspected..." in which that has successfully shut the man up.

Kaito then turned to Conan, just to see him  shook his head, "The knife is likely has pierced through her heart, which it leads her to an instant death..."

Gritting his teeth, Kaito hold back a curse as instead, he gave a soft pat on the detective's shoulder with a look that seems to say, 'it's not your fault'.

All because he knows that guilty look on the boy's face before it slowly morphed into one slim smile.

Nodding, slightly pleased, Kaito then turned to the crowd, "can anyone please call the police?" 

Later, Tsuki told him that she already did and that they're on their way.

"All the meanwhile, we should start looking for clues..." Kaito said again, this time with lower tone and was destined to the glasses kid only. In which, Conan already on it...

That young detective later noticed a couple of things, such as...

1. The fact that no one heard of the victim's possible scream.

2. Just how well behaving their audiences are- well, aside that one man who shouted at Kaito.

3. How weird the condition of the corpse is. Afterall, if the murder was supposed to happen when they were performing then there's no way that the rigor mortis was the reason behind this odd stiffness... despite the air conditioner, Conan just know that it wasn't the actual cause.

And the last but not least... This...

--5 people consists of three men and two women who was sharing the table with the victim, just as soon they were questioned, these are their answers...

Akiyama Hiroto :
"I bet it was Mayeda-kun! He hate her guts afterall! They always bickering over the slightest things, just like this morning! You all remember that, right?" ---he was staring right to Kaito's eyes, not even blinking after several seconds later.

Mayeda Seto :
"Don't start your lies now, Akiyama-kun! Hisa is my best friend! Why would I kill her?!" ---tears could be seen threatening to fall from the corner of his eyes, despite how obvious his rage over Akiyama's accusation.

Nakajima Haku :
"...I didn't kill my twin sister!..." --- and that's the only thing he could muster before going back to a crying mess on Naito's embrace.

Naito Taree :
"Haru-kun was telling the truth!  We all know how he adored Hisa-chan!" ---She said with a cold glare... almost hissing at their young interrogators.

Okane Kaiya :
"I-It was not Taree-chan, I-I swear... Taree-chan is innocent... yes, she is..." ---She keeps on trying to erase her tears as she speaks, but overall, Conan believes that there's something behind that subtle glances that she subconsciously directed at Naito.

And just to make things better...
Out of nowhere, they all could hear the sudden storm howling on the outside as Taiyo just announced on how they mightn't be able to get home tonight...

The news itself has caused the tense atmosphere to get even thicker by threefold with the heavy silence tinted by the faint sound of thunders as evidence.

All the meanwhile, "...please, Tantei-kun, Magician-kun... solve this mystery so we can all can relax..." -Tsuki secretively told the pair as not to cause even more panic.

A silent mission...

In which, of course, as professionals, neither would let her down. Not even despite how uncanny this murder case is...

But anyway, for now they shall focus on the matter at hands...

Just who committed the murder?
