Just Another Case...

Missing...?

The crowd has been eerily quiet as the whole room is tensed waiting for the duo to finally revealed who it was.

Granted, both have found evidences that enough to shut the culprit. However, for now Kaito would only point out the mistakes that has been made some among the suspects while Conan-- trying to confirm their own uneasiness, he'll be looking for that certain someone.

Well anyhow...

Everything happens so fast as Kaito's short deduction has somehow cornered the culprit, in which, by now, the said person hissed to him on just how did he find out. Afterall, the weapon wouldn't be found if it's not because Kaito asked the guards to do an intense body and belongings check.

"How, you ask? Well... it's rather simple actually, as your body languages just gave it away..." Kaito said as he eyed the five of them.

"What?" Mayeda asked with deep frown.

Yet Kaito just calmly said again, " there are twelve subtle signs of someone who's lying...
1. Stuttering and inconsistencies
2. Looking side to side or not blinking at all
3. Sudden head movement
4. Touching nose or mouth
5. Insincere reactions or lack of empathy
6. Not answering right away
7. Giving too much information
8. Using distractions
9. Repeating their sentences
10. Their voice change
11. Moving their feet
12. They attempt to turn the tables on you...
And amongst these reactions at least two or three are applies to both Akiyama-san and Okane-san..."

Luckily, before anyone get to explode, Kaito was able to explain.

"So... as you all have heard, Akiyama-san was accusing Mayeda-san. But he denies. And then Nakajima-san speaks for himself added by Naito-san's statement. As for Okane-san, she tried to defend Naito-san...

Now, here... when Akiyama-san gave his statement his feet cannot stop tapping yet eyes are intensely locked with mine as if trying to convince me with it despite how he's not sure himself. While with Okane-san, she couldn't help but stutter off her statement in which she's just unnecessarily defended Naito-san. And not to mention the glances that she unconsciously gave Naito-san...

Even with this alone, It's almost obvious who's the culprit is. But just to convince you all, I decided that finding the weapon is needed and look what we just found? A hidden knife inside an umbrella... owned by Naito Taree-san.  The culprit herself..."

No one can say anything else by then. Afterall, the solid proof has been found and so Naito could do nothing but laugh like a maniac as she began to babble...

"Yeah! I killed her! But so what? That b**h deserve it! Always act like a fake queen and wouldn't let me get closer to MY Haku despite already takes Seto-kun all for herself. I f***ing hate her! I'm glad that she's dead MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Oh how Nakajima just itched to punch that chica loca square on the face, sadly enough both Akiyama and Mayeda hold him up as she was taken away to be secured by the guards...

Finally, the case is closed...

'Now, to settle the other problem...' -Kaito thought, just in time as he felt someone tugged his sleeve.

"So?" One word question followed by Conan's little shake of head.

"Can't find him anywhere." And Kaito cursed in his head.

"Do you think-?"

"-I don't know." Admitted Conan. "But it's likely that yes, KID already got him. Using this commotion instead of his usual magic tricks. I am so not impressed..."

Somehow, that last statement makes Kaito feel proud of himself, he can't help but smirk even so slightly...

"Yeah, well... maybe we should start by looking throughout the mansion? Afterall, with the storm outside, even someone as insane as KID wouldn't stepped outside."

"So, with permission or-?" Conan questioned but then cut off by Kaito saying, "-Gaki.." an inside talk where hopefully only both of them who'd understand.

So, nodding in agreement the duo then sneakily went to the deeper part of the mansion, not aware that some pair of eyes has been watching their every moves...

"Oh well... Let the game begin~"
