Among all those who live in town
Above the cars, below the plains
There is a different kind of road
Where platforms meet outgoing trains.I saw a lot of hard goodbyes
With lots of hugs and salty tears.
Who knows how many days will pass?
It may be months, or may be years.I saw long kisses through the door
With hearty laughs and cheerful smiles.
Although the hands shall tear away
Love travels farther than the miles.Until days of a warm embrace
They're waiting for the coming train.
Holding the joy in pounding hearts.
They know- one day they'll meet again
