Unfading handprint

The ground meets inner side of hand,
Exploring all the lines and twists.
You leave on slightly watery sand
A distinct print that forms palm's kiss.

Take brush and dye your hand light blue
Until it looks like azure sky.
Imbue blank sheets with touches of hue
And tell to plainness "goodbye"

Peer into every curve of skin.
That paint makes more bright and clear.
The world has given you no twin
With suchlike print that seems so mere.

Extend your hands, think who you are
How many hardships you went through
The palms still hold your childish scars
They know the pain and real truth.

Your hands remember bitter taste
Of all the times you had been weak.
The clumsy fingers act in haste
While soaking tears that roll from cheek.

Hands guard the passion of beloved
And handshakes of your future friends
They hold last touches of ones you loved
Hating to part with till the end.

And every kiss of mother's care
Is kept like saint within your skin
Her fingers dig into your hair
When you go wrong she lifts your chin

Hands tell your way of first and last
With every line and every dint
And if you want to see your past
Look at the surface of handprint
