The Jungles

I met one day in the wildlife.
The place where liberty grows rife.
Where timing stops at day and night
And where a man learns deep insight.

I drank the water from wellsprings
Watching the birds with vivid wings.
And got all dripping to the core
Admiring heavy downpour.

I saw the plants of all the hues
That smelled like nectarous fresh juice.
And found the liane near the pond
Which lured me to the lands beyond.

The creatures of the green domain
Sought the intruder of their reign,
But only monkeys in the trees
Were gaily greeting me with ease.

I met one day in the wildlife.
The place where weakness won't survive.
You'll learn to be the nature's part
And it will show its tropic heart.
