Aizawa was getting back home from the shop. You had sent him to get some things for the evening. You had planned to spend the night watching a movie or something. Aizawa just hated going to the store. There were, people there. Noisy people, annoying people.

Aizawa was just turning the corner to your street, when he saw something smash through the, window onto the street. It was a person, a horrifyingly familiar looking person. Aizawa threw away the plastic bag he was holding, and ran towards the person. He could see the blood pooling around the body.

"No, no, no oh god no.", he repeated while pulling your bloodied body to his arms.

You looked absolutely horrible. You had clearly suffered many other injuries beside the ones caused by going through the window.

"Sho-Shouta?", you whined, while the blood stained your lips.

He tried to stay calm and emotionless, like doing his job, but he couldn't. He could feel the tears stinging in his eyes and his hands trembling.

"Don't talk, it's going to be fine.", he shushed, while caressing your cheek.

You could feel the warmth and affection from that touch, but you could also feel yourself growing weaker every moment. You knew this was the end of your road, you had know that the second the glass from the window buried itself to your back.

"No, it's not. We both know that.", you smiled weakly, and then... You were gone.

Aizawa didn't say anything anymore. He just sat there, holding your lifeless body in his arms and telling you how much he loved you. He knew you couldn't hear him anymore. He knew you were gone. Aizawa raised his gaze just a bit, and looked at the house. He saw two people grinning at the window. Aizawa laid you down carefully, and started walking towards the house.

By the time the police and the ambulance arrived, the people who had been in the house, were beaten and tied up outside. Aizawa answered all the questions, and let the police take your body for examination.

When the police had left, Aizawa walked back to the house. When he got to the door, he stopped. He would never see your smile or hear you welcome him home anymore. He didn't want to go in. He didn't want to go into the place that held so many memories, and was supposed to hold the future for the two of us. All it held now, was violence and grief. Regardless, Aizawa grabbed the door handle.

"Meow."

He stopped, his hand on the door handle, and looked behind him. There was a small (hair/fur color) cat sitting behind him. Aizawa just looked at the cat for a while, and decided to let it in, maybe it was hungry.

The cat walked in, and jumped to one of the kitchen chairs. Aizawa looked around. The house was in a surprisingly good condition, taken to a count what had just transpired there. He decided to pay attention to the cat now, since it was much easier than thinking what you must have gone through here.

Aizawa rummaged through some of the cabinets, and decided to give the cat some tuna. The small fur ball seemed pleased with getting some food. Aizawa sat on the other kitchen stool, petting the cat as it ate on the counter. Somehow, petting the cat was putting his mind at ease. Like the cat was absorbing some of the sadness and numbness he was feeling.
