Aizawa Shouta & Yamada Hizashi (not a ship)

Sick s/o (Aizawa)

A/N: This was just something simple for Aizawa's s/o being sick and him taking care of them

"Come on Shouta, I've wanted to meet your class for some time now and now you're telling me I can't" you pouted, still holding onto the sleeve of his shirt, wrapped in a blanket.

Aizawa sighed: "Love, you've got a high fever so I can't take you with me to the campus"

"Oh yeah, that" you said, and sat back down on the couch.

"We're going to stay home today, it's the weekend so I'm not really needed at the school anyway" Aizawa announced and sat down next to you on the couch.

"I hate being sick, I'm too tired to do anything, but I also don't feel like just sleeping the day away. I also don't want to ruin your day" you complained and seemed to sink deeper into the couch.

Aizawa sighed, you were always pretty annoyed when you were sick, and you didn't really like people taking care of you. He was the rare exception to that, but only sometimes.

You wanted to do things, you hated being sick. You jumped up from the couch, planning on making your way to the kitchen, but you got very dizzy before you could even take a step. Luckily Shouta was there to catch you before you fell.

"Easy, just tell me what you want and I'll go get it for you" he said and sat you down on the couch. "Do you still feel dizzy?"

"I think I just got up too fast or something, so nope" you chuckled awkwardly and rubbed the back of your neck, before trying to get up again.

"Sit down, and tell me what you need" Aizawa said as he kept you from getting up.

"Fine..." -you rolled your eyes- "Could you get me some water?"

"Yes, if you promise to stay on the couch"

"Cross my heart" you said with a tired smirk.

Aizawa rolled his eyes at you and went to the kitchen to get you a glass of water. He knew how you felt about being sick, you didn't want to be a burden or a bother to anyone, so you'd rather just do things yourself, even if it wasn't good for you.

"Hey Shouta?" you said, peeking over the back of the couch.

"Hmm?"

"I think I've got a headache coming on too, could you turn the lights off?"

"Sure" he said and flicked the light switch as he came to the living room.

"Thanks" you said as Aizawa handed you the glass.

You drank the whole thing and set the glass down on the coffee table.

"You should probably get some rest, do you want me to leave you alone?" Aizawa asked.

"No" you muttered, pulling the blanket tighter around yourself.

Aizawa grabbed you by the blanket and dragged you closer to him while you stayed inside of the blanket. You laughed and tried to fight back playfully, but he was stronger than you and you just ended up with your head on his lap, still wrapped in your blanket.

You looked up at him and saw Shouta smiling at you gently.

"You really should let me take care of you more often" he said with his hand on your forehead, brushing your head gently with his thumb.

"Oh don't get all sappy on me Shouta" you smirked mischievously and grabbed his other hand, kissing the back of his palm before placing it on your chest.

"I think I'm allowed some sappiness every now and then" he said with an eye roll and a smile.

"Maybe" you smiled back and laced your fingers together with his on your chest.

"Now get some rest, love" he said gently.

Aizawa let you keep his hand on your chest. You were running a pretty high fever, but feeling your heart beating under his palm, and feeling your chest rise and fall was quite calming to him.

It didn't take long at all for you to fall asleep and he followed not far behind.
