A/N: The request was the reader ending themself and regretting it because they're now a ghost and can see Aizawa's reaction.

You didn't know where you were. It felt like you were floating somewhere empty, not tethered to anything or anyone, but then you remembered and the feeling disappeared. You were supposed to be dead, so why were you feeling anything, why did you still exist? Jumping from so high up should've killed you, right?

Your eyelids were heavy and opening them felt hard and not worth the effort, but you persisted anyway. You were looking up at the sky. Were you laying on the street? If you were still alive, why didn't you feel any pain? What the hell was going on?

You heard hurried footsteps running in your direction and you sat up. It was Shouta, he was running towards you with tears streaming down his face.

"It's okay, I'm fine... somehow" you said, but he didn't seem to hear you.

Shouta just dropped to his knees in front of you and reached for something on the street with his hands trembling. You looked down to see what he was reaching for and you felt like your heart stopped. It was you, you were laying on the street, or at least your body was.

"What the hell?" you whispered.

Shouta's hand went straight through your leg as you sat there on top of your own corpse. He checked for your pulse on your neck, but you knew he wouldn't find it. You were gone, or at least somewhere he couldn't reach.

"Nononononono" he whispered.

Aizawa couldn't believe it, you were gone, just like that. He had fallen asleep by the kitchen table while he was grading papers, and the next thing he knew, he woke up to the balcony door opening and something hit the ground far beneath him. He had shot up from his chair and looked all around the apartment for you, but you were nowhere to be found. He had finally gathered his courage to look down from the balcony and he had found you in the worst way possible.

You were trying to get his attention by putting your hands on his cheeks, but they just went right through. It broke your heart to see how much pain you had caused him. You knew this was your fault, there was no one else to blame.

You followed Shouta for months after that, desperately trying to make your presence known. You had screamed your ghostly throat sore and made yourself crazy trying to make him notice you, but you were just forced to watch from the sidelines. Watch as he spiraled further and further into grief and anger. You watched him drink himself to sleep for weeks on end, or not sleep at all for days.

Aizawa knew he was spiraling, it was even somewhat of a conscious decision, but he didn't care. He didn't want to feel anything, and if the liquor wouldn't help, he would turn to something else.

You watched the person you loved the most in the world deteriorate to a shell of his former self in a matter of six months, and you blamed yourself. Who else was there to blame? You were the one who had made the decision to jump that evening and alter both your lives irreversibly. You were the reason Shouta was throwing his life away and slowly killing himself, even if he didn't realize it himself. You were the reason he would die, all because you had made that decision, that one damned decision that killed you, and would kill him, and that was something you could never forgive yourself for.
