Even though Devin didn't know about my dirty thoughts of my boss I still wanted to make it up to him. I planned to this weekend, even though me and Devin been going out for 2 months we never had sex. We just had heavy make out sessions and he was fine with it and didn't push me which was something I really admired about him and made me like him even more.

For the past 10 minutes I just been lying in bed thinking about Devin and our weekend, I had planned, I was also thinking about Caden, my boss who I would see almost every day. I heaved a sigh and got up and did my regular morning routine.

Once I got to work, they created me a I.D with my picture on it and I went to my floor. Once I got to my floor, Susan the secretary I met yesterday came right to me and offered me tea or anything. I declined her offer with a smile because I already ate. Susan also followed me to my office;

"Is there a problem?" I asked

"Umm, well I just wanted to know if you would like to come to lunch with us and get to know the rest of your co-workers?" She asked nervously

"Sure that's fine, where do I met you guys" I asked after a couple of seconds

"Umm you could just met me by the elevator, and I show you the rest of the way there" she said while blowing a breath

I chuckled "Okay"

"Oh yeah, Mr. Carter told me to tell you can you stop by his office" She said a little more relaxed

I nodded my head then curiously asked "Did he tell you to call him Mr.Carter?"

"Nope, he never corrected me though'

'Okay thank you Susan tell him I be in is office in 5 minutes"

She nodded her head then walked out the door. As soon as she closed my door I tried to calm my nerves about going to see my boss. I need to suck it up, I am going to see him everyday. I don't know why I am even so nervous to see him. I shook my head, blow out another damn sigh, walked to his office and seat in the same seat I sat in the other day.

"Good morning Zenobia, I hope you got a good nights rest" He said and greeted me with a smile

"Good morning to you too Caden and I did, I hope you did too" I said while I lied straight threw my teeth. I could not stop tossing and turning in bed last night and when I finally fell asleep at 12, only to be awakened drenched in sweat at 3. I took another shower and fell back asleep a half an hour later.

"That's good, and I did. I called you in my office so I could give you all the paperwork you will need to go over so you can be prepared for some upcoming events" He said

"If you don't mind me asking what kind of upcoming events?" I asked politely with a smile 

"Umm not at all, and meetings and business dinners also by the end of the month you will have to present at one meeting" He said

I nodded, didn't seem to hard "Okay, Thank you is that all you need"

"No that should be all for today" He said with a strain in his voice

I looked at him funny then smiled at him then took the paperwork and walked back to my office. For the next 5 hours I went through half the paperwork and it was now time for my lunch break. I met Susan at the elevator, she told me the gang was meeting at "The Cheesecake Factory" I nodded my head and told her I never been. She looked at me with her mouth wide open and asked me how the hell I never been to the cheesecake factory, I laughed and told her I don't know.
