...

Cristiano repeatedly drummed his fingers on the table. Feeling his anxiety fly through the roof, though he surely couldn't contain the smile that spread across his lips.

The image of her in that dress kept swirling in his mind, she looked absolutely stunning, it hugged her silhouette perfectly, not to mention the low cut in the front showing just the right amount of cleavage that made him close to insanity.

The mere thought of never seeing her in that dress again made him surprisingly sad.

Dear God, she was by far the most beautiful female he has ever laid eyes on, words always failed him anytime he tried to find one that would do her justice. But after a few tries, he concluded, that not a single word would.

She was simply the sweetest, purest, and most endearing person he has ever met. Sometimes he did wonder if she had any flaws because he refused to believe someone this perfect existed, it was like God had sent her with the sole purpose of making his life miserable with the mere chance of not having her.

Jesus, I definitely need to get a grip. He mentally remarked. Melissa was inhabiting his mind twenty-four hours a day with no break, it certainly isn't fair.

Cristiano was now in his office, trying to occupy himself with business affairs when suddenly his phone started ringing. His mood swiftly switched in hope it was Melissa notifying him she was on her way. Unlikely, but that would perhaps be able to soothe his nerves.

Though he surely was incapable of hiding his disappointment when he saw his best friend's name on the screen.

"What?" he spat impatiently putting the phone against his ear.

"Have you talked to her yet?" Marcelo asked.

Letting out a sigh, he shook his head, but after realizing Marcelo could not see him, he almost laughed at his stupidity, "Not yet, I'm waiting for her," he took a deep breath with a shrug.

"So let me get this straight..." Marcelo said taking a bite of his chocolate chip cookie while he sat in his bed, truly invested in his friend's love story fiasco.

"You're going to talk to Melissa before breaking up with-" Cristiano cut him off, the topic itself was one he absolutely hated.

"Yes,"

"Okay... But shouldn't it be the other way round?"

"Yes, but Estephany's doing some dumb fashion thing and only God knows when she'll be done with it," leaning against the side of the table Cristiano ran his hand through his hair frustrated, knowing he was doing it all wrong, but honestly, now he just wanted to be near Melissa, maybe he'll leave the "I'm in love with you" part for later. After he finally puts an end to his preposterous relationship with the model.

"I don't get it,"

Cristiano could feel himself getting a little pissed off at his best friend. The whole subject easily got on his nerves. "What on earth don't you get? I just haven't had time to speak with Estephany,"

"No I get that, what I don't understand is why you complicated this whole thing, it would've been so much easier if you never took her back after what she did to mel, I mean why did you?"

"I don't know..." he said truthfully, but deep down, he knew his dumb self was just scared of what he was starting to feel towards Melissa. He couldn't understand why he felt the immediate urge to be close to her all the time, or the electricity that flew through his body any time their skin touched, it was certainly driving him mad. If only he had listened to his heart from the start, it would've avoided a lot of things.
