Eliza's POV
The smell of blood invaded my nose as I slowly backed away from the room while everyone else seemed to be frozen in fear.
My entire body was trembling and tears filled my eyes. "What is this?" I breathed.
Jacob was silent and still. I was worried he had a heart attack and died.
"What happened to the front door?!" Kiara cried, turning to Aiden and I. "It was right there! This room wasn't here before! What is going on?!"
"Uhhh. Is everyone okay?"
I turned quickly at the sound of another person's voice.
Benjamin held his head in his hand as he got to his feet.
I ran over to him and helped him stand up.
"We're trapped here! That weird text! This person is crazy! We're all gonna die!" I cried, and Benjamin pulled me into an awkward but gentle hug.
"W-What are you talking about?" He asked and I screamed with frustration and stress.
I pulled away from him and pointed to the room. "Go see for yourself. You got that text, right?"
Benjamin nodded slowly as he approached the door where Kiara had started trying to comfort Jacob while Aiden had started pacing.
Benjamin froze as soon as he could see inside the room.
He turned back to me slowly with wide and teary eyes, body trembling. "What... What is happening?"
I shook my head as I covered my eyes. "We don't know. All we know is that that room wasn't there when we came here."
Benjamin pulled out his phone and dialed a number quickly.
Benjamin cursed and hurled his phone across the room, but Aiden caught it.
"No use, right? Of course we have no service. The only texts I can see are the ones from this crazy person and everything else is offloaded except for my camera and camera roll." Aiden said as he squeezed the phone in his hand.
Benjamin rubbed his temples as he sat down on the couch. "Please tell me everything you know."
I sat down next to him and wiped my eyes. "We know about as much as you do. Jacob told his friends about the text so his friends were killed. The kidnapper- they... those heads-"
"Don't." Aiden interrupted me as he collapsed on the couch next to Benjamin.
"Guys, can you scooch over?" Kiara said quietly as she led Jacob over to the couch.
Aiden stood up as Benjamin and I shuffled over so that Kiara and Jacob could sit. Aiden slammed the door before hovering by the corner.
I turned away as Aiden hurled in the corner, and I couldn't blame him.
Kiara and Jacob both started to break down right in that instant.
Jacob screamed and cried while Kiara curled in on herself, tears streaming down her face.
I screwed my eyes shut and closed my fists. "We need to wake the other two up and get out of here as soon as possible."
"I thought that was obvious." Aiden grumbled from the corner.
I stood up and turned to Aiden, exasperated. "Listen, I'm trying to provide a leader figure for you all so that we all don't fall apart! I'm trying to help and guide us in the right direction! If we stay here much longer we'll all be dead!"
Aiden stalked over to me, spit up covering his chin. "Oh yeah? Then lead us the fuck out of here. I'd like that a lot."
I stepped away from him, coming close to throwing up myself. "That's what I'm trying to do!"
