A Sirius Mistake

Lying is the new truth

Remus stares at me, along with the other members of the order, i see a tear roll down his face and i immediately run into his frozen arms.

"Its okay, i'm alive, it saved me" i say pointing towards the moving veil.

no one moved. I look around, am i alive? Or am i a ghost?

I grab Remus' hand and hold it against my beating heart.

"Im alive i swear, aren't i?"

I look around, everyone is still in a state of shock, the only movement going on was the death eater's bound behind Dumbledore.

Suddenly out of no where, Remus pulls me into a hug again. The warm of my body must of brought him down to earth, along with everyone else, it was as if time froze.

"Sirius, i-i-i thought you were....d-de
ad" he stutters,

"It healed me, im alive"

"H-Harry" he whispers "I tried. I tried to stop him"

"He's gone after bellatrix", i spin round ready to go into padfoot "I have to go to him"

"Expelliarmus" i hear in the distance.
Dumbledore steps forward and picks up my wand.

"I can't let you do that, Sirius" He says carmly.

"What?! This is no time for joking dumble, but if you haven't noticed my godson IS ABOUT TO GET KILLED"

"I know Sirius and i will aid him soon, but first i must tell you that you cannot be part of Harrys life anymore." Dumbledore explains.

I turn to Remus, staring at him for any means of help, but he walks to stand next to Tonks. I twist round to Dumbledore starting to get frustrated.

"You can't do that!"

"I can and i will tell you why, when you fell through that veil and Harry screamed for you. I saw a transformation in Harry, he become strong, brave and determined. I feel that this is what he will need to defeat Voldermort, to finish him once and for all, he will be determined to let no one he loves die, with that state of mind he will be even more powerful when that day comes, to defeat Voldermort."

My eyes are blurred with the tears in my eyes, this man just wants to build him up for battle, he doesn't care for him, he just wants Voldemort dead! Which is right, but we were going to be a family, we were going to be happy. I can even help in the war.

"Your willing to let Harry believe that he has no family left, just to build him up for a fight!" I shout,

"yes, your death will save a lot of lives, Sirius believe me, I'm usually right"

"Believe you! I'm the last of his family, but you wouldn't know about family would you Dumbledore! Wheres your brother hey?-

"Sirius Stop" intervenes Remus.

"Wheres your sister?!" I scream,

Dumbledore twitches but stays completely calm.

"Sirius, you know this is for Harrys own good, at the end of the war, I'm sure you can see him again in good time."

"What if the war lasts 10 years? What if Harry dies, i will never be able to forgive myself"

"Harry won't die if he knows your dead"

"he's right padfoot, if he kills him you can have the family again" Says Remus

i think hard, he could kill Voldemort and ill see him again, would James want this?

"Fine"

"Good hold my arm" Says Dumbledore
I touch his cloak and we apparate to an abandoned village in the middle of no where.

"Don't go looking for Harry, try stay out the wizard ing world, you can keep using the newspaper, but stay away. Good luck Sirius" says Dumbledore and he apparates away.

Im alone. With no Harry, If i hadn't left the house i would still be Harrys Godfather in Grimmauld place, part of the order of the phoenix, a wizard and a marauder. I have let James down, now i have to start a new life.

Sorry I've not updated in a while, i didn't know where to go with the story but i hope this makes up for it, Ive made Dumbledore a little sly.
