Sirius POV

I run down the steps to the entrance of Hogwarts, when i bump into Hermione and Ron.

I run behind them, twist them around and enter them in an embrace.

"Oh thank goodness you two are okay!" I say

"Sirius?! What the hell?" Says Ron shocked.

"You're alive?! How?" Asks Hermione.

"Long story, but yes, I have been for the past 3 years, wheres Harry!?" I ask quickly,

Hermione has a tear going down her face.

"He's already left for the forbidden forest." Mumbles Ron.

"No! No he can't!" I says attempting to run off but someone pulls me back.

"Wait Sirius no you can't! He has to go, its the only way he can beat Voldemort." Hermione says,

"By giving himself up?!" I don't understand what they mean.

"Sirius mate, just listen." Says Ron.
Hermione makes me sit on the step and she puts her hand on my knee.

"Harry is a Horcrux Voldemort didn't mean to make, when the spell rebounded and killed voldemort, his soul latched onto Harry and became a Horcrux. Thats why he can speak to snakes, thats why he can see Voldemort's mind, thats why he has to die." She whimpers more tears coming out of her eyes.

"He has to die.." I repeat, a tear rolling down my nose.

I brush it away quickly, i have to catch up with him, i have to say goodbye.

I sit up and transform into Padfoot, and run off heading for the forbidden forest. Hermione is screaming after me, but i don't listen, i have to say goodbye.

I run as fast as i can until i reach the edge of the forest, i swear i can hear him calling my name. I can hardly see in front of me, the fog interferes with my eyes, making it extremely hard to track him down. I press on though.

The air is cold, i can see my breath while i pant, it is a dark day today, the darkest of days.

I run faster and faster, until i squeal and trip over a jagged rock that stuck in my paw. I strange diamond shaped rock, jet black, hidden in the forest floor, how peculiour, never saw something like this before. But I'm running out of time, i need to reach Harry.

I get closer and closer until a white light explodes and throws me backwards.
Harry, No! No, please god no. I never got to say good bye, First Remus, then Tonks, now Harry. I turn back around and sprint back to the castle.

Everything is going round my head, it actually cause me to stumble a couple of times and hit into trees. But i need to leave, i need to get out.

I reach the doors of the great hall where everyone was gathered. As i walk in everyone turns around, some gasp and some look worried. I fall on my knees and cry into the floor. Hermione immediately jumps up and comforts me.

"Is it done?" She whispers in my ear.

I nod and she gasps, clamps her hands over her mouth, tears rolling down her face.

"Did-did you get t-to say goodbye?" She stutters, chocking up.

I shake my head and she closes her eyes and puts her head between her knees. Her hand on my back.

Suddenly McGonogall stands up.

"Im afraid we have company." She says.

We jump up and look into the remains of the bridge and yard. A flood of black capes was heading down the bride, Voldemort at the front, Hagrid in the crowd holding something, i think i know what it is and my body fills with dread.
